I love you man! I love your frugalness, and your creativity...HOWEVER, IMHO...those LED pars all facing out are just overkill for a stage that small. You could still use them, just in almost any other configuration than them pointing straight out. The panels look great tho!

I’m a couple years late, but have been researching products to build some pixel tubes. Ran across this and it looks friggin awesome. So I’m second guessing what I want to do now. How have they held up over time? And any concern for fire safety?

The panels are amazing and insane! They look amazing, and YES they have held up fantastic considering the abuse we have put them through the past 2 years. Until this spring we basically transported them twice per week, and have beat the crap out of them. We re-solder led connections one in a blue moon and have been over the top happy with them. I think building and selling these systems is a very realistically going to happen in the future, so If you're interested email me. Or if you want more info for your project. I don't see why there would be any concern with fire safety. I've not had any issues. -Nathan :)

Hi Nathan how are you doing? I am loving your videos. Any chance you can give me tips for my project. I have a small room (the space is 6mtsx6mts) and I am trying to find the best configuration. I am planning on doing a total of eight BTF-LIGHTING addressable led strips (60 leds/m) (5mt each 12v) + Muzata diffusers. What would be the best way to power them? Maybe 2 60 Amp Power Supply (running 4 and 4, or running one at the beginning and one at the end)? How many Injections would you recommend? Would I get away with one ESP32 board or should I get more? Or is there any board you would recommend for longer projects? I've seen ENTECCs Octo as an option but would love to get your advice on it. Greetings in advance, love your content

Hi Neto! I am just seeing this comment. Send me an email and I'd love to chat more about your project. CrazyAmazingNathan@gmail.com I only have experience with 5V systems. For me I follow the rules. 100 pixels per new power injection point. 100 RGB pixels would be 6A.

What was the LED controller software you mentioned (Resilin? Something like that… I’m using LightKey currently for all our lights but not sure if it can handle all of this

Resolume Arena is a Media Server for LED walls and in my case pixel content like this. -Nathan

I like using Lighting software/ hardware to trigger content in Resolume. That way the Lighting platform controls the fixtures, and the pixels are controlled from Resolume. LightKey is very limited to how many universes it can control, and it’s expensive. I’m controlling 18 ArtNet universes with my wall here. Check my newer videos. 😀
