This channel has probably already stopped me from reaching my 2024 reading goal. I've now accumulated so many books in my house that were recommended here that I've accidentally shifted Earth's orbit towards the sun and everyone might be dead by August. Worth it though.

A couple of days ago I was informed that my baby’s heart has stopped and that I need to do a miscarriage operation… it’s the hardest time of my life.. this video is the only thing that I have managed to go through and it brought me a little comfort.. Dear Emmie, I'm not a cat person but the love and work you put into calcifer's space is sooooo lovely! Well done on acquiring some building skills as well 😉 I'm stuck in Dublin, should have been flying back to work but weather isn't allowing for it, so instead I went to Chapters (which has a really nice plant sale place on the second floor, you'd love it!) and somehow spent 70 Euro on books. Dear Emma, for my 34th birthday, I decided to get over my phobia of driving and learned to drive. While I still don’t enjoy the act of driving, I am so glad that I now have my license. It’s allowed to me keep living in my country house and still go get my library tech diploma in the nearest bigger town. I feel so proud that I accomplished that. I wish that you can get your license and get to realize other goals, that it helps you like a stepping stone to the next big thing. Sending lots of love from Quebec, which is also a sea of snow right now

I’m doing game of tomes again this year and I agree, I’m LOVING count of monte cristo! I’m doing the audio book on 1.2 speed. I randomly found an abridged mass market paperback in a book box over the summer because I forgot I had the audiobook. This may be one I buy physically to add to my collection and unhaul the weird paperback.

We had snow❄❄❄ the last couple of days too and I love it⛄! It is seldom, living on the warmest region in southern Germany, so I celebrate everytime it does snow. It turns the world in such a wonderful fairytale scenery. Loved the gloves you bought, especially the white ones - oh my god - they are just so beautiful. I would highly recommend Ami McKay's The witches of new york...it had a similar found family, young woman finds witches and ghosts vibes and if I remember correctly theres a talking raven aha...such good vibes in that book... Having a great time currnently, handed my last assignment in yesterday for uni ready to start my next semester next week hah but having some time to myself now :)

Piastri had an incredible rookie year in F1, I’m really excited to see what he’ll do in 2024 (for my local team, too). I’m also a big fan of Albon, I hope that Williams can continue to sort themselves out under James Vowles’ leadership. And, of course, Alonso has been a huge personality and talent in the sport for two decades and it’s slightly ridiculous that he’s still one of the best in the world after all this time.

My 42 yr old daughter went to get her permit the day she qualified 5 1/2 , she has driven everywhere , many states including NYC and in Europe, while her brothers stay in the towns they live in, they have anxiety so... . Hey Em - it's good to see you. I read a few pages in Comte Monte Cristo today. You should read it in French too - at least part of it anyway - I think that you'll like it. The animals look great, and the credit card story is worth writing, if you can embellish it just a little bit. I think that most writers would try to capture that world-ending panic one feels upon realizing the credit card has gone AWOL, but there are other ways to narrate it. Thx for the post - enjoy!

The Count of Montecristo is my favorite book of all time, I read it twice in two very important phases of my life and it means the world to me. Dumas in general is one of my favorite authors.
