Definitely a good concept but I wonder how much they charge for a restored one. Stripping a chassis to its bones, removing all rust, repainting and reupholstering is what automotive restoration companies do already. I hope it will be reasonable money being asked for, not Singer money.
The Opera Performance S2000 from GT4 still gives me goosebumps when I remember how well balanced that thing was. Only car that came close to that level of confidence inspiring driving experience was the Amuse S2000
And become interested in Japanese culture or car culture in general. Such a good show Best Motoring was and still is. I'm learning Japanese and hope to one day understand all the crap Gan-san is giving the younger drivers or Tsuchiya-san when he talks to the race queen. Just hilarious.
"Hot Version International" had a MINE'S R34 Skyline GT-R - RB, on their video series, they said: it was the most violent/scary R34 ever made, extremely fast & IMO mines is the best in the world! I just love the fact the try to keep the outside of the body stock looking as possible.
I'm always thinking that if someday I become rich, ill just try to restore a r32 or any other real jdm car and, if necessary, pay whatever is needed to get a new piece straight from the factory. Besides that, this video was amazing. Masa-san seems like a really nice person and im already waiting to see the next videos of the channel👍🏼
I wish I have found this channel earlier, it is so good, so much details and informations, so much love et dedication to JDM and motorsport!!! Thank you so much for all that!!! ;-)
Love the timestamp breakdown. I usually can't finish the longer videos in a single sitting and sometimes when I come back RU-vid doesn't pick up where I left off.
Thank you @ JDM Masters for this quality content. You really can feel your passion about the cars and bringing that spirit to us! I was litterally crying when I saw the hammer attached balance weight on the forged R33 GT-R wheel. For me this has nothing to do with passion to destroy the paint of that rare wheel and it is so ugly too. Why?
So these guys are to JDM as Singer or RUF is to Porsche. I love it! There are so many JDM vehicles that deserve this kind of care and respect in a rebuilt resto-mod.
Amazing stuff! I just restomoded my mkiv supra with all new Toyota parts I could find plus modernized it! I know how much goes into something like that and have much respect for companies providing these type of services.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, but this guy is an Encyclopedia on JDM. Literally can talk for hours without needing to reference from a book because he just knows. Genius.
What an amazing interview. So huh quality. Been following them on Instagram for a while and didn’t know they were the GT Channel guys! Obsessed with this R32. It’s honestly this project that made me appreciate the design of R32.
I love the car man i.was hoping he would say something about the r33gtr in the back lol . Are you going to talk to hks about there Gtr's or Top Secret ? It's like I don't hear much about the legendary Top Secret anymore man.
_Not just a car, but a legend_ _You are a machine with a soul_ _You are the machine that started an entire era_ _You changed the way we looked at sports cars_ _You broke all records in your debut season and set ones that will never be reached again_ _You deserve an ugly and scary nickname of a mythical beast_ _You dominate both the tracks and the streets_ _You have won people's hearts_ _You have become a symbol of triumph_ _You have become the pride of a nation_ _You are a Nissan Skyline GT-R_ _You are Godzilla_
Nice video of a nice concept! Been following the Jdm scene since a while thanks to best motoring. I would like you guys go to garage Yoshida he mentioned that prepares the chassis for Mine's, it was recently presented in GT channel, but it'd be awesome if you can cover it. Thanks and keep going the channel!
I love tihs approach by Built by Legends where they are honoring and respecting the respective Legend, in this case Mine's original philosophy for what they set out with the original car and in keeping to idea with this build. I wholeheartedly believe in this approach when it's a car like this that you want to enjoy on the street, something that is very much enjoyable to drive but also reasonably comfortable and reliable. This is similar to a Singer for instance, something that's not a pure track car or all-out high horsepower monster but something to can just as well be enjoyed on the street as much as it can be tracked. Can't wait to see more from Built by Legends.
For me, these behind the scenes videos are the most enjoyable you produce. Insightful and informative. I have noticed how most if not all of the places you visit are so clean and spotless. Is this a JDM thing or a Japan thing?
Here in the Philippines we like to call those types of build as a "purist spec" or sometimes we say that it "passed" the "legit check". These type of build will only be appreciated by the one who really understands what he/she is looking at.
Really hope that in the future people restore R32,3,4 like singer does with the Porsche 911s, only in recent years has the 32 got the attention it really deserves. Honest the R32 GTR is probably one of greatest touring/road car ever made
Wish they had more in depth videos on all these garages like a normal day of a mechanic or builder with a go pro an in depth stuff on cool r32 time attack projects or secret projects that are finished good job keep the good content up and more in depth on gtr r32 chassis building 👍 😀
I agree JDM Masters - There's a point where you can loose the spirit of the car. For example, my daily is a Hybrid with 110hp. Yet my driving car 420hp with a six speed manual.
Yo! I could eat on any part of the car! 😯 I’m in my 20s and I respect the old new taste they want to restore to these legends 😱 more about pride honor and sentimental value on wheels 😍 detail is key oh my gosh amazing!
I would like to follow the build for that r32, that is my dream car what are they modifying in the engine, drivetrain etc. I need to know and do the same to my 300zx build.
This is amazing America is going crazy for these cars right now. Y'all gonna have a JDM re explosion all over again. I could imagine the stored up rare ones privately owned GTRs
Its like you bought a brand new r32 straight to the dealership. I really like that low profile look but still have enough power when driving in touges or track.
