A small tip: The usage of adjustingen sizes is really nice to make a ship, but you should use more parts that are in the game. The upsizing of the wings means bigger control servaces that are glitcy and out of proportian. When building a speficic bit of the plane ( maybe a f-35A or F-22) we use a lot of smaller wing connectors to get the shape of that plane by rotating and moving the parts. The plus side on that is you have more wing surface and the correct shape of what you are trying to build. When creating a part of plane using a lot panels will aslo help. The big problem is the big wings get glitchy when sized up. You can always ( because i got more focused on mimmic builts) to mix the the two ways of building, and use a lot of stuts :)

If you make a normal aircraft, you need two wings. A big one at the front that is inclined upwards at the front of the airfoil, and small ones at the tail that are inclined downwards. That stabilizes the pitch if the center of gravity is between those two. And a stabilizer at the back of course. You're always making flying wings, and they are hard to control. Here the center of gravity must be in front of the center of buoyancy, or you can't control it at all. Both are only true if you are gliding, with a controllable forward force even a stone could fly... ;) Just two small tips from a hobby pilot. Edit: the wing at the back is for easy pitch controll, and normally the vertical wing at the back is for yaw. Rolling is usually done with the flaps at the front wing. That's just the easiest plane you can build, from here on you can go crazy!

You should put all the wings at the top so the center of lift is higher than the center of gravity. That makes the plane stable.

Only about 5% of weight should be on the nose wheel, real planes must consider cargo loading order so they don't tip back and a few even have a tail stand used durring loading and unloading. add mor main gear struts, the MD-11 has three and 747 has four, several high-wing military cargo planes have 10-12 main gear struts. The total center of mass should be a bit forward of the total center of lift. Add a horizontal tail or use a canard design, it will make getting a stable controlable design much easier compared to the delta wing concept.

RCE!!! You can fix the "WOBBLE" with the wings by reducing the degrees range the flaps can move in the wings settings! If you set it to bellow 10 degrees, it will stop shaking up and down to stabilize!!! 😄🙏

I have an idea: Build a center piece. Attach 5 weighted sections by some sort of cable. Get it spinning, and see if you can get it to spin itself up into space LIke a little ninja star or something.

Quick tip: if you ever build this again, make sure to split the tail like on the AN-225, as with the height on your plane it blocks the vertical stabiliser and hinders your maneuvering.

Yay, you discovered the horizontal stabiliser :) Not sure how accurate the physics engine is, but your vertical stabiliser in the shadow of your tall body might render it and the rudder ineffective...

Dear RCE. Airplanes, you might notice, generally have _horizontal_ tails as well as vertical. This is how you're actually meant to control pitch.

You want a langer (taller) front wheel, Such that your front end is slightly pointed up. This will make take off easy as you move faster you plane will naturally try to go up into the air.This also make landing easyer as you slow down to land your pull as well, landing on to weals in the back. ( you can you same size wheel for the whings and front.

Challenge idea: build a bomber in the opposite way of this. Fuselage at top and fuel tanks below. You’ll fly the tall bomber and drop fuel tanks one at a time til all that’s left is the fuselage flying. Bonus points for landing the fuselage.

The hardest I've wheezed laughing in as long as I can remember. My head hurts from laughing so hard. If there's one thing I've learned watching RCE: if you have a game you want to test for bugs, give it to Matt. The last time I remember wheezing this hard was the first time I watched the Custom Caravans episode of Top Gear with Clarkson's citroën as it wobbles down the motorway
