Pretty good here, but Beyoncé is probably the most versatile singer and definitely over Gaga. She can sing like every genre convincingly. Also, for agility, I'd have to go with Brandy for sure. Just ask Tory Kelly! 😂. Or u could put Brandy as best "tone." Anyways, look forward to the next video 🤗
@Alonzo Clarkston Beyoncé has a wider supported range and better lows and head voice. Mariah is definitely a better vocalist. But overall the way Bey navigates her voice is a lot safer.

We need Lara's resonance, but I do think Mariah Carey has everything already. 1. Consistent in every register 2. Range (F#2 - B7) 3. Crazy perfect agility 4. Growls, intentional breaks, support, sustained notes, great resonance, etc. 5. Emotions. 6. SONGWRITING (no one can match her songwriting)

I will repeat I am a die hard lamb but she needs to change her technique to really get those 90s moments.
My definition of a perfect singer would be a combination of Mariah, Whitney and Beyoncé. Mariah has the tone, the range, the transition, the whistles, the agility and the artistry. Whitney had the tone, the power, the head voice, the stage presence and the vibrato. Beyoncé has the lower register, the agility, the dynamics, the head voice and the stage presence. With those 3 singers, i don't feel like i need to add another singers at all, as they're star-rated singers with incredible vocals and are some of the greatest singers in modern music.
Mariah Carey is the perfect singer. From her million dollar TONE, dark to light timbre, she can hit low note like a man, belt a well rounded resonant note, and super high belts but still resonant and supported and doesnt sound like she was shouting (thanks for her tone). Also her mind blowing agility that shows her artistry and her melismatic airy, falsetto that makes her unique. The best falsetto ever! So buttery and with all thay riffs and runs on it, I'm dying! Lion growls, natural vibrato, (because of her resonance) intentional vocal cracks, her mind blowing transitions (other singers will yodel) and her iconic whistle that makes her superior. Her whistle sounds like a bird (again, thanks from her tone!) We already had the perfect singer since 1990s we just dont realize it.
MORISSETTE is well BETTER than her in her prime, she's a beast of an artist, tone, technique, dynamics, whistle note, her resonance and consistency, not to mention how she can get an audience in the palm of her hand, she's the greatest storyteller in song that you will ever hear in anyone's lifetime, her enunciation is nothing short of perfect and she's not even English,she is Filipino, she will the biggest global superstar in the not so distant future and that's sooner than you think 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️
Yesss. Her head voice fucking solid! Honestly if I was making a female vocalist I would just use Bey Xtina and Mariah. Xtina for > mid range and falsetto. Bey for > lows, head voice. Mariah for > whistle, upper belting. They all share agility, timbre and versatility.

Mariah has ABSOLUTELY everything: resonance, delayed vibrato, tone, whistle register, low notes, musical intelligence in formulating and placing runs, agility, good enough head voice, and did I mention TONE? Early 90s Mariah tone was too heavy and dark. It suddenly changed on Musicbox. Oh, what a pleasure to listen to! The paragon of pleasant tone would be: "Don't Forget About Us", or "Open Arms" or most songs from "Rainbow", "Glitter" and "Musicbox". The only singer that comes close in terms of tone is Christina Aguilera. What a sound! Of course, I'm only talking about her natural voice - i.e. when she's not trying to swallow her tongue and push down her larynx which singing. Christina also has very good ability to run and riff. She's very musical. Whitney has the fast vibrato on her upper chest register, which sounds divine. Don't like her tone, though. Celine can do good rapid disconnected riffs in her chest that are extremely hard to do, but otherwise she's not very musical. Sohyang has the most amazing mix. She sounds gorgeous up there. Lara Fabian - oh God, what resonance! Even more than Mariah I think. Beyonce - no comment. Who's left?

Great video! In my PERSONAL opinion I would change the agility to Mariah, head voice to Whitney, and vocal growls to Queen B. And my perfect vocal timbre would be a mix of Whitney and Mimi.

Great video concept. I also felt that this video was more of a compilation of unique/best part of each singer's voice rather than a compilation of the best singers for each part of the voice. This was a good way to not leave out anybody while making the video.
I agree but only if she's singing in her natural voice and not the forced, throaty low larynx voice she puts on. I like Christina but the woman can sound like nails on a chalkboard at times lol.

His timbre, his vibrato, his power, his confidence while singing, everything is wonderful, including his voice in his head. But Lisa (a singer as good technically as Whitney) has PERFECT control over her head voice. The agility, precision, support, resonance, strength, timbre that Fisher has over his HV surpasses all other vocalists. Each of them excels in one aspect, and Lisa is the queen of HV!

It’s hard to choose, because some singers are unbelievable great in more than one aspect. For example, Mariah could be on lows, whistles and agility. Beyonce could be on growls, head voice or agility. Whitney could be on head voice, vibrato or growls... Mine would be: Support - SoHyang Whistle - Mariah Agility - Tori Kelly Head Voice - Whitney Tone - A blend between Whitney and Mariah. Vibrato - Celine Growls - Beyonce Versatility - Gaga Resonance - Lara Fabian (can’t leave her out)

I'm brazilian and not ironically I've spent time studying each singer's strengths since the date of publication to incorporate each trait into my voice and surprisingly I've succeeded, but still need to improve self-control and stage presence. And for that i thank you so much even if the perfect vocalist doesn't exist, cause this video made me develop the best part of me. P.S.: Brazilian music tends to be more interpretive than technical, but I believe with the references we have added to the musicality and versatility in both North American and Brazilian music, things can border on the perfection of life. And yes, we have so many technical but underrated singers, cause brazilians prefers stability so much instead of explore on the high notes in the fifth and sixth octave.

Prime mariah is pretty much untouchable but she wasn’t consistent in all years. Because she performed SO much and didn’t get enough rest and also because of the nodules that cost her voice to decline a bit. Now technique wise Beyoncé is better than her and it shows because she is consistent and hardly has any bad perfomances vocally. But NOW definitely B is better. But mariah can still give the girls a run for their money. Don’t get me wrong. Prime mariah>. BUT NOW BEYONCÉ. B has been in the industry for more than 24 years and still has a great healthy voice and support throughout her range.

Alonzo Clarkston voice being thin doesn’t mean it’s not strong. Beyoncé has great resonance too. And vocal being thick doesn’t mean she can sing anyway and her vocal chords will be fine. It needs great technique to keep them healthy which Beyoncé has. Singing with nodules is hard but mimi managed it pretty well in her prime. But now, no one can touch Beyoncé in vocals. Mariah NOW is nowhere near Beyoncé in vocal department.

The only things I would change about this: Low notes - Miley Cyrus Timbre and tone - Ariana Grande (she has a very radio-friendly voice so I think having a tone like hers would really help) If register transitions was a separate category from riffs and runs, I would DEFINITELY put JoJo there because her transitions are OUT OF THIS FREAKING WORLD 🤍

As a male, I would love to have Nick Cave's lower range, Paul McCartney's higher range, the versatility of Peter Gabriel, and the musicianship of Elton John. Although when it comes to timbre, I must say that I quite enjoy listening to brighter voices like Andrew Bird and Thom Yorke. If I were a female, I'd love to have Karen Carpenter's velvety lower register, Eva Cassidy's soaring higher range, Erykah Badu's soulful inflections and the vocal dexterity of Joni Mitchell.
