I went crazy and used two dumbbells, you are right I didn’t like it, I was so sored but is effective 😅

Using 2 dumbbells help me balance but it hurts so good! it’s a good trade off

This exercise is an absolute necessary evil. They are absolutely awful, but they work so so well on the glutes.

Okay, but now how do you do these without inadvertently putting your weight on the leg that’s up? As I write this I THINK I’ve told myself the answer… As you build up strength, you’ll naturally use the correct leg and rely less on your other leg and whatever you may be using to hold onto?

I'm not gonna like these? Hello, I love them. It is an amazing feeling - mind muscle connection. For me they seem to be providing more muscle strength and growth than doing barbell squats.

Thank you for the leg tutorial. I've been struggling on footing for a while but you made it clear and I was able to be less wobbly. I'm not sure if I'm doing them right yet, but the burn feels so good xD

Yessss ty for this. I knew my form was off, I was getting a lot of pressure in the back leg that was propped up and my knee kept passing my toes on the front leg. I see now I need to sit up more straight and kinda lean away from the front leg coz I tend to lean forward 👏🏾

I tried but I just lose my balance and topple over. Maybe its because I am petite and the bench is too high?

I do these with 2 dumbells. 12.5kg in each hand. Which put a total weight of 25kg on one leg. Got 2.5cm muscle growth in 7 weeks by doing just 7 reps per leg 2 sets of them occasionally. Although my glutes remained the same, even got 0.5cm smaller. But they seem rounder

you've probably lost weight. Anyway, if you feel more sress on leg than glute, you should consider to change your setting

What can I do for core? Something simple but effective? I don’t have a good core at all actually and it causes so much pain in my lower back because my spine has overcurvature.
