@@AFMountaineer2000 Exactly Right, They'd Have To Be Crazy To Rob Bull Of His Hard Earned Cash In Fact He'd Pull Out Both Of Their Arms, Legs, & Head Then Use The Rest For A Planter!🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😄😄😄😄😆😆😆😆😁😁😁😁
It's funny to see anyone make John Larroquette look short. Richard Moll is 6'8". I think their relationship on the show was really hilarious @@AFMountaineer2000
@@ronaldshank7589 He just would be, WAS. There was an episode where he tried, under orders from Harry, to stop Bull from leaving the office. Bull said to move or he would "invent the human pretzel"
@@rayvega3163 That probably made their interactions more believable. They were never friends in real life and their relationship in the show wasn't exactly best buddies, either.
Its hard to believe that Richard Moll who plays Bull Shannon in Night Court did the voice of Two Face in Batman TAS 😮 He made Two Face memorable with his growling and raspy voice and he was perfect for the voice of Two Face .
No f#$%@$@ way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was him? Wow how tf did I not catch that? I used to watch batman tas years ago as a boy. Shocked I'm just now finding this out.
Sounds like Bull would actually be doing a lot of people a favor by the disposing of Dan that way. I mean, come on...this guy seems to have no redeeming qualities about him at all! He bones women left and right, he seems to have no compassion on anybody, and he truly doesn't know when to shut up! Maybe him getting robbed in the Elevator taught him a little lesson about being careless enough to flash money in front of a stranger... especially in a closing elevator, with nobody around to help him! Dan learning a lesson like this is LONG overdue! Bull's gonna have fun with Dan, and Dan deserves it!!!
@@ronaldshank7589 I don't know about no redeeming qualities. He seemed to go out of his way to try and have Mel Torme meet Harry in an episode. Unless there was some ulterior motive that seems like a thing a good friend would do. Mel was in the court house and he knew Harry idolized Mel.
@@ronaldshank7589 He's not without redeeming qualities. He refrained from having sex with Christine when he could have, saved Roz's life at the risk of his own and tried to talk Harry out of quitting when Harry was having a moment of severe depression.
Watching this show after umpteen years and finding out it is totally excellent unlike most of the shows I used to waste time watching. Especially Selma Diamond , so sad she was only in during the first (?) season. Should have won an Emmy.
@@Devin-O ya but Richard Moll was 6’9” and Larroquette isn’t towered by him too much. This would probably make him around 6’3” or 6’4” which is still taller than the average person.
@@josehinojosa9752 you know what I just had a thought Richard Moll would have been awesome as Solomon Grundy that DC Comics fictional character you got to admit he had to look the right height the right build for that particular character.
He could, but he wouldn’t. I think Dan is the only person Bull physically harmed in the whole series, when he invented the human pretzel. For the most part, he just lets the suggestion that he COULD do all the work for him. He doesn’t want to be scary, but he’s fine with using it to his advantage when need be.
Still one of my favorites is when the Court had to take a Mandatory IQ test. Bull looked so downhearted. Ms. Christine asked Bull why he was so sad. Bull said, "The number is the same upside-down" Ms. Christine:"69?" Bull: "No. 181"
Hard to explain to the current generation, but in the 80’s in NYC there was a real possibility of some weirdo pulling a gun on you and demanding all your cash. That is where the tv/movie cliche came from. And for some reason I feel almost privileged to have lived through the insane NYC of those days.
Never been to NYC so while I appreciate the Elmo and Olive Garden reality of the 21st century, the gritty, shitty New York of The Warriors and Taxi Driver will always hold a place in my imagination.
Frankly, all he has to do is point out that if the robber takes his money he'll have to worry about Bull being angry at HIM too!... So long as Dan explains who Bull is, and what Bull is capable of?... Well, Problem solved!
IIRC, Richard Moll didn't get along with either Harry Anderson or John Larroquette. Richard Moll was a classically trained actor, while Harry Anderson was more of a comedian than an actor, leading to the serious natured-Moll clashing with the comedic-natured Anderson. Meanwhile John Larroquette bonded with Anderson, but developed a rivalry with Moll as to which of the two was the breakout star of the show. (If you ask me, kids remember the show for Bull, but adults remember the show for Dan).
and were still around, because just because there's a recall, doesn't mean they leave the marketplace. Banks had to send them to the Federal Reserve, but regular people could still use/own them, just if they went to a bank, the bank would then send them to the FR to be destroyed.
I just want to ask all huge Night Court like me this question? When something funny happens on the show and the audience laugh do you laugh also at the one particular guy and lady who laughs in the audience? They both have funny laughs to me.
There's another episode where Mac quits after inheriting from his grandfather. Mac's replacement is inept so the holding cells are full and all the defendants for the night's docket are in the hall. Bull left them there on the horror system. When Harry tries to correct him "You mean the honor system." the face that Bull makes tells you all you need to know, lol
Night Court? The sequel series (also called Night Court) started in 2023, and John Larroquette reprises his role as Dan Fielding. Rumor has it (I haven't taken a look myself, yet) that Marsha Warfield may also be coming back as Roz. If you mean reruns, they do so on various channels. I, personally, would like to see remasters bringing the video and audio quality up.
@@rodsatterthwaite3313 I had some difficulty watching it at first, thinking it was going to be as wonderful and creative and funny as the original. It wasn't until I watched it as it's own thing that I was able to enjoy it and start drawing the parallels.
As much as I love Bull here. Is he literally carrying $1,000 dollar bills in this skit when Dan needs $5 thousand dollars 💵; or did Bull just count out $500 bucks not knowing the difference between $500 bucks and what Dan was asking for the 5 grand? Did anyone else not catch that? 🙄
Due note the highest bill in general circulation to the public is $100 dollar bills. $500, $1,000, $10,000 dollar bills etc are only kept by banks only. The roll of play money 💰 Bull carries around is pretty funny how nobody catches that. 😂
Suspension of reality for the sake of comedy. That being said, the series ran through the mid 80's up until the early 90's. Thanks to Reganomics, 80's was full of obscene excess. And considering that Bull didn't like keeping his money in banks, that would probably be the choice currency to use to carry around his nest egg. Walking around with $1000 bills seems ridiculous now, but that's only because the largest denomination circulated to the public today are $100 bills.
@teslonelf: I am looking for the Night Court clip where they bring an old lady into the courtroom, Mack tells Harry that she was arrested for stealing cat food & it goes something like this: Harry: Did you steal the cat food to feed your cat? Lady: No. Harry: Why'd you steal the cat food? Lady: To eat it. Harry: Why didn't you just steal real food? Lady: Because that'd be more... Harry: Pathetic?! Lady: Yea! Harry: Yep, get her outta here! Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks!
I know the bit you're talking about. I'll see if I can find it. It's the episode where a guy wants Harry to decide who gets the winning lottery ticket.
Season 2 Episode 4 "Pick a Number". It's currently available for $1.99 on a number of different streaming services. Might be free if you have a subscription on one of them, but I can't be certain.
That's what I figured too, however, the $1,000 note was discontinued in 1969. Meaning that by the time period this show is taking place, most, if not all, of the $1,000 notes were destroyed before Bull could get any.
He gives them the money and he's all happy and then until he gets in an elevator he gets caught by a robbery wants his money and he's like a s*** 😐😮😮😂😂😂😂😂👏👏🙌👍👌⚡💯
