Installing on stock suspension? If so do you plan on upgrading and what lift? If not what suspension do have and how much lift? Just curious, im waiting on delivery of a GLS and plan on getting a PIAK bar and im concerned how the stock suspension handles a bar but looking at aftermarket suspension it's quite a bit confusing. Many brands only seem to offer a 20-25mm lift and to get a 40mm or higher lift it seems you have really pay up for an expensive set with control arm replacements. Any recommendations was hoping to get 40mm lift with a better ride once the bullbar is on.
Yeah stock suspension at this stage. From what I've researched 20mm is the easier option. As you said, anything over that needs new control arms. I'll end up doing a lift larger than 20mm but it all depends what your plan is long term e.g. serious offroading or just basic touring or maybe you (like me) just like the look of a bigger lift. When I do the lift I'll 100% do a video of it. A friend of mine got the PIAK bar installed and reckons he lost atleast 20-30mm of clearance, I fully expect to lose about the same amount with the ARB bar!
@@mrtriton5405 Thanks for the reply. Ya a small amount of off roading but nothing too serious. Like the look of the bigger lift but at $1000 more for the bigger lift might not be worth it for me. Look forward to your video of install and suspension upgrade in the future.
