Bullet Witch's gun/broom weapon is actually a pretty clever design.

I saw a trailer for this game years ago and I never knew the name off it. I've been trying to find it ever since, now that I'm watching your review of it, it peaks my interest.

I love how you clip into the dumpster. 10/10 Would glitch again. :)

This was the very first game I ever got for the 360 and I loved it at the time. I'd certainly like this to be remade with a better story. The overall concept has the potential to be really good, it was just executed poorly. But that's not likely to ever happen.

Fake world events in the "future" are always funny, according to metal gear solid 2 the george washington bridge was broken in half by a flying army base in 2009.

I want a sequel while retaining its core design but also improve on it. I can see what they wanted to make for this game. On paper it probably sounded too good but in execution it wasn't a flop but not that great either. No, it actually achieved several ideas even if they weren't well executed and probably could have gotten more attention if they decided to make a sequel with improvements. The main character could use more energy but i do like that she's mysterious even if that makes her less interesting . Never heard or played this game but it has a certain charm to it that i find quite interesting. Sure it look and plays not very well but so were the games i played back in the good old days. Back when game companies were innovating and were mostly being ambitious as you said. The only problem with reviving a title like this today is that it would introduce a problem our games currently are plagued with. If you guessed microtransactions then you're correct. If bringing it back at the cost of it being completely ruined with what these mega corporations are pulling with today's microtransactions then i would rather stays in the past intact with all its flaws and cool concept intact. Or have a different studio with a much smaller budget have a look at that what the vision for this game was at the time and give it a proper revival. Excellent review! It's on sale on Steam for 6 bucks.

Maxwell is voiced by Sean Schemmel, the guy who does Goku from the Dragon Ball franchise. It's funny how a guy so renowned in the voice acting world, could have such a bad performance. Probably more to do with the directors than the actors. I played this game way back in 2007 when it first came out. This review describes exactly how I feel about it. It's a very fun game with a lot of issues.

Wow this video really took me back. I have never played this game but I remember back when the channel G4 existed and watching this game when it was featured on the show CHEAT at the time. I never did get the game cause I didnt have an xbox 360 and until now I completely forgot about it! I can tell you really put a lot of time and passion into this video and just wanted to share my story with the game. I might give it go now, I really love the style and feel of the gameplay from what Ive seen. Anyway nice video! Lol

19:35 I think Alicia rejecting the helicopter trip is understandable. She died in a plane crash. In stage 3, the plane where she travelled and the other plane crashed In Stage 5 the helicopter fleet was destroyed too. I would not blame her for not liking to fly,..

Hold on, how did her dad know she was in hell? That's not the most positive view of your own daughter. On a side note, I don't think bad voice acting is a bad enough sin to land you in a lifetime of eternal damnation. Maybe it was the goth thing, lol. Good video!

Weird, a lot of people actually really despise the Drago fight because of the fact that you have to defend the plane and can only damage Drago in one particular way.

Good video! The only problem in my opinion is comparing the physics in this game to Half-Life 2. The thing about HL2 is that the game pretty much revolves around the physics, that's what the Source engine is very well known for. In Bullet Witch the only strategic thing is moving to this direction and pushing it at a horde of enemy unlike HL2 where the complexity is much more insane. This is the the few things you can do using it's physics and also gravity gun: 1. Use props and object effective to kill groups of enemies or individuals. 2. Manipulate props to be used as cover against bullets or grenades. 3. Grab a grenade using the gravity gun and throwing it at hostile. 4. Fire a rocket at an object and send objects flying and it will have a chance of crushing an enemy. 5. Navigate maps using props to elevate yourself or even exploit the game at times. There's loads of strategic advantages to the game when you gain the gravity gun! There are so many interesting and fun things to do with it compared to just simply force pushing a car or trashcan at people. I'm not bashing on the Bullet Witch game but HL2 has in my opinion the best physics out there and I've personally had such a blast with it, I'm still playing it today. Nothing is more fun than throwing a explosive barrel at a strategic spot and seeing your enemies fly at random directions.

I have a question: Have you ever played a game in the Earth Defense Force series? you basically said that if a third person shooter has a cover system, it makes it significantly less fun, and the Earth Defense Force games don't have a cover system.

This game has potential if the developers put more effort into it. Maybe a Reboot or a Remake or a Sequel could fix these issues.

It’s 2023. The game is still unmitigated jank. But. Hot witch ✅ Bullets ✅ Boom booms ✅ I just got a 360 again and I’m going once more for that 1 achievement point for Hell difficulty.

I just got back into it again and yeah I always hated the voice acting in this. I always thought the voice in her head is what makes her a witch, it's the one giving her the powers. She did come back from the dead, so she is somewhat demonic. But like always they come back and fight the evil they kinda share the demons with.

Holy shit I remember reading through a guide in Tips and Tricks magazine WAAAAAAY back and I really wanted to give the game a try. That said, I recently heard that this game's getting remastered for modern consoles. I have no idea why

I recently discovered this game on the internet, saw some gameplay of it in youtube and I love it. It's kind of a mixture between Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden in shooter form. I bought Bullet Witch online, still waiting for it to come in the mail.I'm so excited to play this game.

This developer should sue Platinum for getting Boyonetta from this but doing it all better.

ive wanted this, but the reviews are so bad I've been afraid to waste the money. you review stands out in apologetics, but then I liked the unfinished BombShell...i just wish someone would do a game like this right. I mean they did it for Bayonetta, why can't they make another decent Bombshell/bulletwitch heroine like Bayonetta. Still tempted....

Some how I got a hold of this game lifestyle and since then couldn’t let go and it’s been like that since I can remember and oddly about this game to bullet witch is something to try if your a fan of devil may cry and beyonetta and the Evil dead it’s it’s own style and story I do believe I’ve bought this game twice once for Xbox-360 and once for PlayStation-3 yes mom a long time ago I finally bought a PlayStation-3 and now I’m on PlayStation-4 and soon enough PlayStation-5 I had a recent Nintendo-Switch that I had bought to while staying at Tashie place and I also bought the kids Nintendo’s to except jr. He got some games but I’ll probably give him mines

the only reason for anyone to play this .. "game" is to enjoy looking at the gothic witch MC, but that's all. you can finish it in 4 hours, the gameplay, story, and interactions are all garbage. even using magic is not that useful ... if you want it for the witch .. whatever your taste is .. other than that, keep your money in your pocket i do listen a lot to evancessance, but i never knew their leader singer is named Amy lee .. hmm ...
