Burbot, as goofy as they look, are hugely underrated. Help us love the ling! Seriously one of the best fish and chips kind of fish, the burbot stands shoulder to shoulder with snapper, halibut and cod.
We know Jay knows burbot, and we're actually asking for his help to give the ling more love. We have a special presentation for Jay and Sam Siemens and we can unreservedly recommend their channel: / @jaysiemens

Burbot are DELICIOUS! Here in NY they tossed them back or to the seagulls . I picked up everyone I can and when I tell them I’ll trade them walleye fillets for burbot they look at you sideways . I then proceed to tell them the other areas of the US , Canada , and the world revel this fish . Then describe the flavor , texture , ease of cleaning and cooking techniques and can usually change their minds . Thank you for bringing us along in another great adventure with your fantastic family .

I have to say that I have been watching your channel for awhile now and I'm so impressed with your girls. The way they take on life, and to you and Rose you two should be proud of not only the girls but yourselves for the way you've taught the girls. Nice renovation. I did a 1965 StarCraft renovation back in 1995 and still looks like it was done last year. Unfortunately the rivets are loosening and it takes on a little water but that's what the bilge pump is for.

Just love the videos. It show that you can live more simple and yet feel good about things, greatfull for things. Just love the girls and their ability to do things like their regular schooling and then doing the extra stuff (working on cars, building stuff) . Most students do not get the chance to experience what these girls have experienced. Nor do most kids have a two parent family. Good going you two. We had six, and it was a ride. 5 girls and one boy.

To live out near a lake that's remote enough to the point that most folks won't go there makes it THAT much more enjoyable.
