My mother is from Burma. They left the country the night there was a military coup back in the very early 1970s. They were lucky because they were high up so they knew what was going to happen. They left everything behind and had to start again in Australia. My grandfather was lucky enough to know people here and was given a job. They were the few lucky ones who could afford to leave. Whenever my mother tells me the story she always sais "you could hear the tanks rolling down the streets that night." It's something that probably terrified her. Thank God for a country like Australia.

This is officially one of the coolest looking rail vehicles I've seen. I love this sort of effective ingenuity that you see in the third world, splicing together scrap metal, antiquated vehicles, and industrial machinery into reasonably functional creations.

Now, I understand the older people having such mobility skills, having to get up and down that damned truck. Never seen such a narrow gauge rail tracks. Ingenuity at its best, as always, and we never see this in the travel brochures.

Yo look at all these amazing people , going around being productive and getting shit done ....while I am not allowed to even take a step outside my house without an escort or permission. I'm so envious of people who can go around and do this . It's my own country but I'm so ignorant because of being cooped up in my house like house arrest since young😭😭😭😭. Even if I can go out nowadays I would be blur as hell and it would be so embarrassing not knowing how to do basic things at my age in public .
