Thats one of the best parts of bands like deep purple, especially deep purple and rainbow, for me. Ritchie blackmore and the geniuses who created this music are legends, and I absolutely adore the Bach, baroque and classical components that they have in their songs, the components that make their content fricking amazing
As a long time Purple fan who bought Burn when it was released, watched them play this live (on tv)at California Jam and have listened to various live recordings of it from '74,I salute you. The playing is stellar (Moog and Hammond simultaneously),the tones of both instruments are near perfect, which also deserves a lot of praise.
@@infectionsman sure they had overdubs in the studio. on "Celebrating Jon Lord" concert, a tribute to Jon, Deep Purple was playing Burn with two extra keyboardists (and one of them was Rick Wakeman)
The first time I saw this was in 2013 or 2014, and today (2018) I still come here to watch this magic hands. This is very good. Everyone need to recognize it.
I'm happy you like it, but I wonder: How can anyone coming around her NOT know Burn ...? (ok I know - different generations, different taste of music ... guess I'm just getting old ... ;-)
Great! Wonderful song, fantastic solo - and you nailed it perfectly. I don't even know if John Lord really played both parts simulaneuosly ... :) Seven thumbs up!
Coming back here because I see that the keyboard at the bottom is a 73-key Nord Electro 3, with an F1-F7 range. This range is identical to Beethoven's piano, at the time when he composed his Emperor Concerto and his 26th and 27th piano sonatas.
Wooooow man!
How many of the original members are still alive? We've got Ian, Ian, Ritchie, wtf ...who am I missing?? I tell you what... they would all be FUCKING PROUD TO SEE their art carried on so beautifully, fantastic!!!
No se si la gente lo sepa pero Jon Lord's nunca toca en vivo ambos sonidos porque no es realmente imposible pero si complicado lograr la coordinacion en ambas manos tu eres muy bueno men... te admiro :)
Wow! First time I've seen/heard both lines played at the same time! (That synth line always reminds me of Heigh Ho Heigh Ho It's off to work we go!) Top effort :-)
