I laughed so hard at this. Not in a mean way. It was so Scooby Doo. I almost expected Saru to say RuhRoh! And I liked that the outer planets guy looked like a Belter from The Expanse. Though honestly I am loving this season so far. This moment just made me incredibly happy.
Canon violation/continuity error alert: _Synthehol_ is a *FERENGI* beverage: the Ferengi were not encountered until 60+ years after Discovery's exit from they're original timeline.
I don't know about ferengi synthahol, but we do know the episode with Scotty that Starfleet introduced synthahol after his "retirement." So technically it is a break in canon. I think OP is mixing synthale with synthahol.
@HN Victorious No, it makes him the most reliable source. Discovery happens just before the time of TOS, so unless discovery was experiencing with synthahol, its unlikely that Synthahol would be available pre-TOS. Plus, Scotty was not a drunk. He drank, but he was not a drunk.
Also bring the Titan perp aboard and placing right in front of the Earth commander? Well crap something Kirk, Picard, Riker, Sisko and Janeway would have done as well.
