Very Cool to see the work you do today….my mom and dad were there in PNG back in the 50’s & 60’s and it’s so rewarding to have been a part of NTM’s ministry back then…..and to see all the huge accomplishments Ethos 360 has done there for God

I remember going to school in Tufi (direct east from Port Moresby on the east coast) in 1971 and it was the same as the 'original' school you point out. The funny things was sometimes the teacher didn't turn up let alone the students, I of course, was told to go and then my Mum wouldn't believe the teacher wasn't there until she came to see herself.

Thank you for this Ryan, as a former biology and learning support teacher who, for the last 10 years of my career worked for University of Cambridge International Examinations (as it was called at the time), work which included training teachers at numerous locations in southern Asia and the Indian Ocean, I know how important an education is for these young people, offering real enhancement in life choices, including staying put and improving their own communities as well as opportunities to move away for further education or employment opportunities. Brilliant to see. - thank you.

Another great video - thanks Ryan. Lovely to see the schools and the work going on in Yifki - seems everyone is doing a good job. I was surprised to see the note at the top of the runway chart advising that no flights were to be made between Hewa and Yifki due to tribal animosity! Am curious as to where the floatplane that was parked on the apron at Wewak flies to. Enjoyed the speeded up return flight - it's a great way to see the Sepik Basin.

Years ago, when I got my AOPA Airport book for joining, I came upon notes for Alaskan bush pilots like, "Caution: mountain at north end of runway, caution: cliff at south end of runway, caution: rocks and trees on south end of runway." I made a pledge to myself never to be an Alaskan Bush Pilot since I was a poor pilot anyway and in the way of being 'chicken pilot' (as one fellow told us he was on radio as he plowed through a mortar barrage to take off in Vietnam). PNG has surpassed those frightening charts. Your Yifki chart says, (paraphrased) "Do not fly between Yifki and Hewa on account of ...animosity" (as in skewered or shoot down airplane). If they request Patriots, don't give it to them.

My book is close , been tracking it from USA to Australia… landed in Sydney last night, due to my door in a day or two … looking forward to it muchly.. Thanks for the effort. Edit: Book arrived this morning. Beautiful book as expected, nice Xmas present to self. It really needed better packaging for international post though… thin envelope is no protection from impact. A little damage .

It is really cool to be able to fly along in the cockpit with you on every flight that you do. I really enjoyed today's video, and it is good to see the work that you guys are doing in PNG, which is amazing. I thought that the approach to the landing strip is quite challenging, but I thought that the strip itself was really good. And I really enjoyed the compilation of your flight back to base - the rivers form the most beautiful patterns as they meander down from the highlands. Merry Christmas Captain Ryan from Sydney Australia. Instead of flying in lumbar, is an option to sling lift a portable sawmill. Then remove it to the next village? Then; * potable water * electricity * sewage treatment 🌏🌲

11:30 Interesting note on top of the chart r.e. no flights due to "animosity between tribes". Consider elaborating on things like this in future videos. Your videos are heads and shoulders above the aviation videos of people flying from point A to point B.

Do you run CG numbers for end of flight as well as beginning? What I mean is that you burn fuel as you fly - I assume the tanks are in the wings - so I would assume the CG would tend to go aft as you burn fuel? Or is the fuel balanced at the empty CG?

As you are flying right on the aft CofG, does it not move as you burn off fuel. On some aircraft like my RV6 if I fly for 3 hours with two crew and baggage, by the time I come to land the CofG has gone well aft. They warn you in the manual. It all depends on how the tanks are positioned in the wings. So, when you landed where was it in relation to departure, when the only thing that has changed is the MTOW & CofG ?

What is the possibility of getting a short video of Moresby Center control ? This might give a complete picture of what your communication is like with the controllers. I would not be surprised if that isn't possible due to security concerns with access to the control center.
