the fact that the cops railed you with tickets over a simple violation when you werent even endangering anyone when they know you on a first name basis is so sad. really cleaned up the streets with those tickets
Eh, how long have they been stunting illegal activities that they have been cited before out in the open in front of millions? It's a small town, eventually it catches up with ya. I'm sure their bosses asked how many tickets they've written them being that they are pretty much riding wheelies down that road in every single video.
If you don’t want the careless ticket on your record go to court and they’ll probably change it to something less serious, even if the fine is the same. The fine amount is mostly all the courts care about lol
@@jacobcook6463 I was gonna say, pretty sure the DNR can legally do this. Not to mention all the MPCA violations from them building the track, the state and DNR are probably allowed to come on that property whenever they want for a certain period of time.

Oh it's a good relationship for the dnr though..they give tickets and the cboys smile and bend over and take it. They were clearly targeting them and didn't have to give tickets for something so petty. Take the ticket and tell them to be on their way. Don't be laughing and so inviting to them. If yiu let them k own they aren't welcome they're not going to want to deal with you as much.
They should set up cameras on their properties to watch the highway to see if these azhats are constantly driving by or waiting somewhere for them to come out. They are not in the "big city" well wait they could go to Chicago and ride wheelies up and down past the cops and they won't do shit. As an Officer it's obvious to see they are targeting the group... They are watching your videos, waiting for an opportunity on a slow day, and getting put on RU-vid by a bunch of guys trying to have fun. Other officers do similar things but it usually involves the drug guy bragging about his money, drugs or guns... Not saying it's ok to break the law but they are watching every minute. I mean I am also but not for the same reasons lol
Exactly. Don't just smile and bend over. It's usually good to be nice, but in this case there was no reason they had to give them a ticket. I feel like they were targeted. Take the ticket but don't be nice about it. Let them know they're not welcome.
i had a cop constantly hurrass me and pull me over in my car for everything. ended up getting a lawyer and slapping the cop with a hurassment suit. as well as a restraining order. the cop wasnt allowed to pull me over any more and if he did he would get fined for it. he left me alone after that. cboys may want to look into doing something simular as this seems very hurassmenty

Isn't it funny how a STATE agency (MN DNR) spends so much of their time, energy, and resources to target a few local, rural guys from Cormorant? Driving 100 yards to their own private property on a county road that is hardly traveled? As an MN taxpayer who funds the salaries of these clowns, this should seriously make you red in the face. I used to defend the DNR from sh*t talkers of the fishing and hunting community, but now I've come around to their way of thinking. An absolute joke! Stick to conservation and serious policing!
Another thing is that if cops know you are going to trails/land to ride they usually don’t have a problem with it. These DNR officers acted like high ego snobs, along with a passive aggressive tone.

Don’t pay them. Call a traffic violation attorney and let them dismiss the case. I’ve had 10tickets. 2 reckless driving for doing wheelies and burning out in the city. Both dismissed. And tickets most of em dismissed. Paying the fine is the worst thing to do. Find an attorney who specializes in traffic violations and let them handle the case.
As a stunt rider in Missouri I've had a couple wheelie tickets ( wreckless and endangerment) I took them to a lawyer that made them non moving violations and its 0 points on license. Might be a bigger ticket but no points is a good thing.
So you allowed them on your land with no probable cause or warrant? And they just decided to stroll on? I would’ve told them to get lost, and let them ticket you on a public road. Abuse of power and waste of resources.
I live two hours south of you guys, got pulled over by the DNR on my local county road. I was going 65 down a county road on my renegade, long story short, not registered in my name, not current registration, and of course doing 65 with an atv down a county road. Dude gave me about 3 warnings and said have a nice day.
That’s technically harassment and targeting. If they can call you by your name that’s highly illegal when they admit themselves that they’ve seen you and where okay with watching you after waving already at you.😅
That officer had an issue from the get go. Total power trip, disrespectful and had an attitude. I hope you read this and these comments and understand how much of a dbag you are. 100 yards, not a car or pedestrian in site. You knew what you were doing. Hire a lawyer boys. Yes, you did technically break the law but as you yourselves pointed out (as well as everyone in the comments), it definitely seems targeted and excessive. I'm not saying you need to make this a big legal battle, just saying if you don't already have a good traffic lawyer you work with find one. At the very least, you can get the charges reduced to JUST a fine and not a FINE plus higher insurance premiums and points on your license. Get that careless driving reduced.
Apparently following the law is optional in Western Minnesota. Oh wait, No, somebody thinks the law is important. Now, to be fair, some of y’all’s points are valid. It could be argued in front of a Judge what you were doing. And, A senator might consider writing an amendment or new bill that would loosen those laws, or adjust them. God Minnesota law enforcement is straight garbage. The same officers are belly up to the bar, then drive drunk home. Why do real work actually cleaning up real crimes, when you can just pick the easy targets. So shameful
Yeah they handled that way too nicely. I would've been as rude as possible without getting arrested 😂 It would be different if they were out on a highway farther away doing wheelies on big bikes or if they were doing it in town. But the cops parked on the one section of road between their shop and the track just to ruin a nice day. And gave them a fuckin reckless driving charge
