Technically the obvious would be that there's little electricity for her to harvest on a farm. Officially I think the answer is stress/emotional instability based on a quick search. Maybe add other factors like her not using her power much since she's no longer active as Starlight, so she's out of touch. Someone mentioned her not using her power at all since the season has started, which is largely correct ignoring the physical fights and scary eyes.

Could just as easily weight loss from drug abuse or anorexia, so yes of course it's distracting up to a point, but after a few millions people saying it since the season started that horse need a break from all the beatings. Mother Milk's weight lost is infinitely more drastic and I haven't noticed much vitriol. Beside it's not as bad as the kid's voice, personally.
