I like the mechanics of it but at :38 your man had a tight collar tie with his head tucked in tight and most likely would be driving the crown of his head into your cheek all the while keeping his collar tie tight and his head stuck to his arm. With that I'm sure you'd have a hard time getting your hand in on his bicep all the while he's driving into you, moving you backward. When you showed the move your man let you by moving his head away so you could grab his bicep. I'm not being a smartass here but it's important. Question: For those with wrestling experience, with the way the opponent had his collar tie tight with his head tucked in tight at :30, how feasible is this move?
Can anyone say Ippon Seoinage from a Turk??? Where's the butterfly? (Butterfly is with your feet hooked inside your opponents inside thighs while sitting.)
@Shawn Mendenall I have wrestled since I was 8, freestyle in Germany, folk and freestyle in HS here in the US and Freestyle in University. I was merely stating that it was a Russian or turk style armbar to throw (seionage). If you type "butterfly in wrestling" nothing comes up. But I also acknowledged it as a great throw so...
Seems like more of a wrestling move than anything, considering chokes arnt allowed in wrestling I don’t think it’s much concern. However in the world of BJJ Krav Maga and such this is a good tool. Granted not one I would rely on
