This method is good! I only modified it by instead of using a separate small piece of hair, I left a small piece out when I flipped the hair up then wrapped it like she did and used the small piece I left out to reinforce it. It’s a lot easier than separating the hair.

Your hair came out lovely!!! I tried these locs for the first time on my channel, but I did Jumbo butterfly distressed locs. Looking forward to trying these again.
You can use nail glue or just wrap it on the hair and twist it a little when you are done but for it to be more secure use the nail glue some ppl burn them but burning this one might make it look ugly
When you are almost done wrapping make sure the piece of hair is getting thinner. If wrap up and down in the same area with a thin piece it will remain secure. I didn't use any glue or burn them when I did mine. Check me out check me out!
