Well in the covid plus episode Eric cartman is living Kyel’s life as some time Rift but then Dr. Kenny McCormick dies from Covid plus plus variant and then There’s a Time Machine Eric Cartman Kevin and Clyde were using to ruin Kyle and Stan’s lives but then they fight back against cartman and finally put Him out on the streets and in his place once and for all because he was always the bad sociopathic Narcissistic friend that held them back from their dreams lol 😂
I'm not a fan of Lianne's change because of the comedy dynamic of her and Cartman is now ruined. It's funnier when she enables him, but I love to see Butters stick it up to him.
@@TheVoltGuy I disagree, I think its cool to see the growth, especially this far into the show. It’s not even something they have to stick with as it can just be an instance where she rather live in a fully paid for house then a hot dog
@@JarrekAsF It's barely any growth though. They just made her a nagging Karen like all the other mothers. It'd be growth if they actually showed her regretting how she acted towards Cartman by enabling him, all it has been is she randomly gets mad at him now. Also, it's a comedy show. I don't need to see a lot of growth in characters all the time, ruining their dynamic that was iconic to the show is not funny or interesting to me
@@TheVoltGuy a nagging Karen? She doesn’t Nag like Sheila or Sharon. She just undermines without saying anything to Eric. I’m sure she will return to the status quo if indulging him now that they are back in their old house as it signified return to normalcy.
The ending of this episode was so satisfying to watch. Butters developed so much business savvy from running the ice cream parlor by himself (thanks to Cartman's slacking) that he singlehandedly made DikinBaus a success. Then he teams up with Lianne to sell the rights to the IP after making his money back and get the Cartmans their old house back...all to get back at Cartman for trying to screw Butters over for his own benefit. Go Butters.
I wonder if Cartman was actually telling the truth when he said that the hot dog is a landmark on itself. Once Butters DID PUT WORK on it, it started attracting people right away. This shows how much potential people like Cartman have if they stopped trying to scam people and work for a change.
@@laurocoman the change from post-covid special that Cartman have to leave the group but everyone get worst while he change for the better. The future never set in stone regardless (in the end if you think deeper into the post-covid special everyone but Cartman is the actual Jerk but without him they would never realized themselves they are also a bunch of Jerk) and Cartman can still change for the better. We all love to hate him but overall there is a chance for him to change for the better. I am hoping there could be a change in direction to make everyone happy because IDK why he is the only catalyst to make everyone better but worst for him in the end. Like he is destined to be a jerk for the better of the world. If any Southpark really does attaract the most Jerkiest of people. the World Wide Privacy Tour does really show even the wealthiest and the jerkiest of people got attracted to it despite they can afford to live in any part of the world even buying a secluded island and once they change they decided to leave South park.
I really don't think Butters was motivated primarily by getting back at anyone. Butters is the only good person on the show. Butters made the restaurant succeed because his money was tied into it and it only needed someone to put in the effort to make it work. Selling it and sending Cartman back to his house certainly hurt Cartman but it helped his mom and it helped Butters to get his money back and then some.
It’s funny to think that he didn’t want anything to do with Dikinbaus, he just wanted to sell ice cream, Too bad he had to cover for Cartman’s lazy ass
I love how in this whole scene Butters is pretty much doing everything out of spite for Cartman. He realizes Cartman will never actually do anything and makes it crazy successful, again out of spite. Cartman gets a small window of his paradise only to be all but thrown back into his old house. Butters needs more wins like this one. Also, I think it's implied that Kenny still owns the place so that's a win for him too!
@@Midg-td3ty No Butters bought the house, Cartman and his mom only live in it. At the end of the day Cartman got nothing and was ripped away from what he really wanted. Butters definitely won.
@10010011 Midg cartman turned the hot dog stand into his dream home while butter now gets to run his own business buying the house back was just butters way of kicking cartman out so he doesn't ruin the business butters will earn the money back quickly if it stays this successful
@@jamircox8458makes me wonder how Cartman became a Rabbi in the first timeline I want to say Lianne was tired of her son's shenanigans and put him in Military School and after he got out he went on his own path spent his Teens and Adult life studying Judaism and becoming a Rabbi
It's also satisfying to know that this episode foreshadows and emphasises the Post-Pandemic special future where Butter's will have a happier future as a Denny's-Applebee's Max manager because of his drive and motivation to work, whereas Cartman will never change and because of that it shown he will become homeless and forgotten about.
And also his mom. Remember they moved to Hot Dog house because Cartman ruined her job as real estate agent and made her got fired so she could pay more attention to him while in fact, he's already 9 to 10 years old and already in 4th grade not a baby anymore.
@@shinigamiphantom1391 I know right and he was the one crying about living in the hot dog I wonder who bought the hot dog and did butters end up becoming rich
When Butters flared up with absolute anger, I really wanted him to pummell Cartman but instead, worked at DinkiBaus. Now that's called "controlling your anger"
I love this cuz despite the fact that its upsetting that he's being taken advantage of its nice to see butters just do something for himself and that he's good at it.
Pretty much how retail, warehouse, restaurant business is. You can be the hardest worker, backbone of the shift, busting your a, and the manager doesn’t even notice. Meanwhile, the one that isn’t even doing anything, standing around, talking to the manager, motor mouth, pretending to do things here and there gets all the praise and credit and gets the promotion. This is why ppl lash out and do mass attcks at their workplace, unaliving co workers, managers. The hard worker makes minimum wage for the rest of his life, while the talkative one becomes manager
What's even better is what comes afterwards. Before Cartman can take all the credit for the stand's success, Butters and Liane team up to sell the business, getting Liane her house back and robbing Cartman of his play house.
butters used the money on his investmenti in dickinbaus to buy the restaurant and cartman's old house so now cartman is back at his house and butters and kenny are the sole owners of the restaurant
@@ytevysbhtb He's saying that CEO's and managers get praised for the work that lower position employees do, while the employees don't get any praise whatsoever for the amount of work they do.
Butters finally gets the win outta Eric’s bullshit. I’m so happy my favourite character is standing up for himself, and standing his ground. The character development is impeccable. I wish him all the best in life always
I hate spongebob because more often than not, SpongeBob only wins because luck is on his side. Because the writer is bent towards him. He doesn't deserve the victories he gets. Butters, on the other hand, absolutely deserves the victory he gets.
It's a real huge shame how harbinger became a microscopic side character in Mass Effect 3. It's one of the countless sins of Mass Effect 3. I actually managed to salvage a video that was lost from a guy who was ripping apart Mass Effect 3 for 2 and 1/2 hours. Fiery passion he has in that video.
I really enjoyed this episode and feels really relatable nowadays. Kenny and Cartman had a great idea for a place but no one good enough to actually run it and then Butters comes in and single handedly makes the place a success. Goes to show that the bottom line people really do help make or break businesses
This proves once and for all that future Cartman-as-a-rabbi-and-a-decent-human-being is either the greatest prank the creators of SP ever played on its fans....or the greatest fantasy they ever conceived. Cursing, homeless Catman looks more like the right destination for him.
rabbi get other people to do the work and demands money or tells them they go to hell if they do not forgives the sins of the criminals so suits him well
I can see it: Butters: Hey fellas! The boys: Hey Butters. Butters: How's it goin'? The boys: Bad. Butters: It's always goin' bad with you sticks in the mud!
I've seen this method on hot dog stands that are short staffed, its about anticipatin, organization, and timing. Butters has these concepts hands down.
Originally when I saw the post COVID Special I felt kind of sad for Butters because he had potential to be a successful business man, yet is stuck working as food industry labor. However the episode kind of puts a positive twist on it. Butters literally decided to work for the ice cream parlor because he wanted to, he had the chance to make DikinBaus a chain, but sold it to foreign investors just to get revenge on Cartman. It makes me think that Butters could potentially be making a lot of money on the side but is working as a server in the future only out of choice.
@@hungedteddy7971 He's totally doing all the work. Cartman's just doing all the talking and discussing plans with his subordinates. Plus, he took Butters' money.
@@hungedteddy7971 Well in real life, Cartman would've been arrested for taking Butters' money. He really screwed himself over here. Ending up homeless and alone will totally be his own fault.
Shame what happened to him in the altered pandemic future, he has *way* better potential for business. He could be better than Vic Chaos, and this episode really proves it (along with other hints in other episodes)
So people that aren't from Colorado. Casa Bonita (referenced in earlier episodes) is a historic landmark here in Lakewood, CO. Trey Parker and Matt Stone purchased it last year because it was going to be demolished. They have renovated it and it will be open next month. It's going to be a huge event here. Pretty much the entire episode is them providing inside jokes for the people in the loop. Love these guys so much and the fact that they are giving their hometowns some love. I love how this is a parody of trey and Matt buying casa Bonita and that literally no one else gets this joke unless you're from Colorado. Can't wait to go to the opening day of casa Bonita once they re-open it next month. I'll be camping out and standing in line. All of the people that don't get this joke I feel bad they don't get how hilarious this episode is! I just really hope they aren't trying to flip casa Bonita like at the end of the episode.
Honestly Butters has been South parks largest punching bag for such a long time that everytime he actually stands up for himself and actually sticks it to his abusers it is a massive euphoria for me. Like the time he punched his dad in the nuts or when he got one over cartman when he was awesome-o with that video tape but man this has to be the biggest win for him yet. The Day he finnaly confronts his parents, especially his father for being a closeted gay abuser will be the day i jump with joy literally.
It remember me when I was working in a cafeteria and I really hated my job, but I always did my duties with the best attitude and given always the best quality of product even contradicting the instructions of my boss
Over the years my respect for Butter declined more and more with no hope of it ever recovering, until this one episode he somehow gain it all back for me. The classic "I have to do everything around here" attitude really won me over this scene.
