I've been called a "lazy worker" as a dishwasher because I dont wash the knives by hand even though the cooks are responsible for washing them, not us. this person also always injures themselves and is always sent to the hospital because of this They're promoted and make 18 an hour vs my 13.

@@corntastrophy "oh no, this person makes an inhumane salary that's slightly less inhumane than mine!: that's how you sound. the problem ain't your coworkers, its the owner of the real estate, of the monopolies that provide the food ingredients, dishwashers, the knives, all equipment essentially... of the restaurant chain if you work on one, etc. They all taking a cut and you and your coworker end up with salaries that are not worth the effort you put in.

I never said 18 an hour was a humane wage; far from it actually. my point was that said monopolies you have described will give people slightly more humane and livable wages for basically injuring themselves and bootlicking to them. Not all stores are like this, but most major retailers are since they spend their profits on expanding. I know that she is working way over her worth if she's fucking washing knives with her hands (you just rinse out knives with soap and you're done). But that's my point; she's saying I am lazy because I don't put in more effort to be rewarded with being thrown pennies at. Although personally yes I still do think they are not a good person to work with, but I understand that part is just life at work and I try to ignore them.

A hard working kid isn't going to want to work for minimum wage but at the same time a employer isn't going to want to pay a crappy employer anything more then minimum wage. A real life example of this I've seen is Macdonalds have its wage above that of the other restaurants. This flocks in more employees and give macdonalds the chance to be more picky and fire/give less shifts to under performing employees.

Cartman was now happy to live at the hot dog but of course his laziness and his personality were his Achilles heel, so he once again lost. Cartman was crying at the end because he wanted that business and the property and Butters ultimately took it away from him. So it doesn't matter that Cartman has his old him back because he lost once again.

One of my favorite episodes. It shows both sides of the working life; the fact that there are hard workers who get shit done and it DOES pay off to do that; but also that it's becoming increasingly difficult to find people who do that. But also the problems with employment (minimum wage not worth doing the job for). You meet all these types in work; people who talk big about working hard, but don't do jack, and then there's people who shut up and do the work.

neighbor back to work in home const. with a nice employer just had TWO young kids quit at good pay. One observed all the other working too hard; one who just couldn't understand reliably showing up. A work ethic has nothing to do with what you are paid. And no tools, no experience, and you'll need time to come up to a simple level as a laborer? Since when is that 50 US an hour, paid daily, kash under the table?? You aren't worth it.

Well that's the job people only generally get on the dick wagging high horse after they've achieved whatever it is they feel they've achieved. Like for instance pop into any retailer that has an 18 to 23-year-old manager particularly that of a female. She'll act like she's been a retail manager for 25 years. I mean yeah the guys can do it too but I will say sometimes I've noticed that the women are worse.

I laughed at this episode. Eric and Kenny rolling on the floor laughing seeing their hot dog stand name on the news reminded me of the fun, immature humor that put SP on the map in the first place.
