You know I was kinda meh on the extent of the rattiness of the ‘57 hardtop when you first threw it together and cleared over the lichen. But when he pulled it out of the garage to head down the road it all came into focus and I have to say that thing looked totally bitchin’!!!

I was actually surprised you sold the only non converted 2 door i've seen on your channel. And easily the coolest looking, in my opinion.

I didn’t hate the tear drop scoop, it looked cool on there. Reminds me of a Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt hood.

37:30 that there is a fine looking vehicle. Headed off to East Coast USA. I tell ya what I wouldn't change a thing about the patina on that ride.

As fitzee says on the east coast here if its good from the door handles up its mint. These guys are starting way ahead of the game with these cars.

Awesome, the Great Lakes will be the biggest cross Canada test. When I lived in NS and moved back West to SK in 2013 the Great Lakes will always be any vehicle tester. As always awesome show, I may not have any real 57 Chevys, but my 635 piece 57 Chevy Diecast collection Rocks.

275/60-15 tires on 15x8 wheels are pretty much the only thing I use on the rear of ANY car. Wide enough to look cool, but not so wide they would cause drivability issues. Just checked the weather in Winnipeg. 81 degrees F, 80% humidity. Weather in Phoenix, AZ, where I am, is 110 degrees, 15% humidity. Extreme differences in both temperature and humidity. There is no way I would be outside working on a car in 110 degrees F, even with the much lower humidity. I'd love to have something like that '56 wagon. I'd put a new engine (carbureted non LS of course), transmission, rear axle, and all new steering, suspension, and brakes, and spend the rest of my life driving it all over the country. Fold the back seat down and you could sleep in it. I still don't get the Ford hood scoop on a Chevy thing.

Check for busted valve springs on those if its getting an intake pop. I had one doing it in the intake valve and it was letting exhaust into the intake and melted the plastic intake
