I've heard of that someone told me the bid kept increasing and she just couldn't keep up so she just stopped bidding jiki jiki she was awarded the car 🤔🤔🤔
Hi Nicolette when you get time please do a video on rent to own and recommended places where one can actually get a car that is rent to own with pros and cons.
Bought my 1st car at an auction in 2016,no problems still runs today. Do your research, take a mechanic if needed.. A car isn't necessarily an investment so theres no need to break the bank
I bought at SMD the one in Boksburg... You go on the viewing days all the cars are there, pick the ones you would like to bid on. Register.. And better to go with someone who knows about cars or even a trusted mechanic..
Check SMD webside, the cars are listed there as well.. Also you guys can check out other car Auction places ( nedbank has for repossessed cars, most of the dates are listed on the websites.)
The finance route is there to make your life easier, the more you're willing to pay, the easier and quicker your things will move. So I guess you were in a hurry to buy or just didn't have the heart to do homework. Congratulations by the way 😊😉
Kala Gift i just really thought my insecurities about buying a used car, I mean I really dont know a lot about cars so I decided to buy a new one maybe the second car will be from an auction 💃🏾 but listen im loving this TSI guys. DSG gear 🔥
Thank you for this, I have been planning to go this route next year because I learnt a lot from my first voetstoots plus I know plenty of people who have purchased a vehicle from an auction.🤞
Wow, literally everything you just shared now i have learnt about it while i was doing my 2nd year "Commercial Law-General Principles of contract" you are so spot on Sis wam. Thank you so much, i didn't know that voestoots clause is applicable to auction. I''m sharing this clip! Stay blessed my sister we love you. 😍 💕
There is truth in your “I’m just joking” 😂🤔.... I appreciate you so much since Namibia financial dealing is not far from SA, and even exactly the same I some cases
Very insightful....I have never been to an auction nor do I know of any auction houses,,,Thank you for this video I am constantly learning in this channel
Yes people, a car is a mode of transportation most of the time so always remember the purpose of buying a car, you're buying it to get to work not for people to see you have made.
If you have intention to buy, have a good mechanic with you. I bought a car at the auction last year and it was being sold as a runner. On the day of collection I realized that the car has had a problem, but I was like "this is a minor problem I'll take it to panel beaters" Long story short, took it for panel beating and guess what I ended up paying more than 50grand just to fix it but again it still has some other problems. When I bought the car it had less than 1000km in it.
A friend bought a “quantum” at an auction only to find that it’s actually a panel van and can’t be used as public transport which is what he had intended to use it for
Thank you very much for this highly informative video. Where have you been all my life... Hawe Jesu weMa! Instead of focusing on the advice I'm busy getting lost in your eyes... 😊... I had to draw a map in order to find my way to finishing the video.
Good information. Before you buy anything, ask yourself these three questions; Do you want it? Do you need it? Do you have to have it? I bought my cars at the auction
Cars are just babies who really stress the heck out of us whenever they need some maintenance. I'm so glad we can choose which "baby" to buy and they don't just show. I love them so much though! They should keep coming my way coz I can do general service my self so the bill is lowerrrrrrrr
nicollete you are a boss hey, you are the illest. thank you so much. this video was clarity to me. i have been going to auctions and i was seeking validation but this is it.
Hi Nicolette, I hope you’re well. I would like to ask; •Is it possible for a bank e.g wesbank to finance a car that you buy at an auction? • Let’s say you buy a second hand car from a dealership, you paying the car via installments (the car is R200 000) and you’re paying for insurance, it still under warranty. After driving the car for few 2months a problem arises, engine related, when you take it to workshop for repairs they say its going to cost (R170 000) to fix the problem and the insurance doesn’t want to pay they say the issue was caused by your negligence. 1. What can you do? 2. Can you take the car back to the dealership before you can fix it? 3. Is it possible for such a problem to cost almost the same as the car price? 4. How can ombudsman help in this case? 5. According to Consumer Protection Act can you take the car back to the dealership and demand your refund if the 60days hasn’t passed? I’m asking lot of staff please bare with me
Hi Nicollet Your videos are so informative, for the purpose of attention (items of the eyes) when using one camera I suggest - not having your so close to the screen, I see straight into your eyelashes - add graphics e.g. highlight of the things you talking about - it's some how watching a face straight in front of you for 11mins. Also consider it for Smart TV RU-vid Viewing
I heard a rumor that rich people(Companies) go to Auctions first before everything is auctioned for the public and they buy them first at the cheapest price with great conditions. The day of Auction when normal people go to auction they get rejected things even though they look like a bargain.
People who dislike this channel are probably the first listen to the gems dropped here and benefit from the channel. But they do not want other people to benefit from this wisdom.
A car is not an investment if you only use it to take you from *point A to point B.* Auctions are good if you wanna safe cost and out 🆙 the car to help make you money. Now that's *investmt/asset* but be sure to know everything about the car.
A car is also an investment if it just takes you from point A to point B, because taking you to point A to point B can be generating you money as well.
Thanks for this. My 2020 plan is to buy 2015 Jetta TDi or 2016 Polo TDi sedan from an auction. My budget is R100 000. After watching this video I feel like my 100k is more than enough.
Hi Nicolette, I really am interested in selling my written off car. Initially I thought you would explain how much did the couple get for their written off car , Before acquiring a new car from the auction. Thanks for this though. I will research
Hey Nicolette can you please make a video on the mileage and KM of the car are those km remaining Some of us will be the first one's to buy a car in our homes so we are not familiar with those things Thank you so much for your content
Nicolette can you please advise my cousin on what to do.She paid a R5000 deposit for an accident damaged car which she intended to buy then she did her research than decided it wasn't a good deal. She told them she wanted to cancel but was told the car is already being fixed so she will get her deposit once someone buys the car. When the car was bought they kept telling her she will get the money but ended up being told she will not get it.She paid the money into the company's account she has proof of the payment which now the owner denies receiving. The Ombudsman was not able to help her😥😥😥😥
Hi Nicolette, haha watching this video for the 3rd time now. im just curious, if i want to go into buying cars at the auction and selling them, do i need to register a business immediately or can i buy and sell, also what happens with tax and all that? your response will be highly appreciated.
Great work you r doing my beautiful Sister, give financial education to our folks, especially us previously excluded by the Capitalist parasitic system which always want to prey on our brothers and sisters! Great Work... keep up.
