I have read a touch of darkness and I have to say it's a great book. As a Greek who loves our mythology I really enjoyed it. Also it's the first book of a series but I haven't read the rest.
i just finished reading “the 7 and a half deaths of evelyn hard castle” and i really enjoyed it, it mixes time travelling with multiple points of view in a thriller-mystery book that is set in a rich family’s old holiday house. definitely recommend, 4 out of 5 stars
I'm very guilty of buying books based off of the cover and not even reading the description, hoping that I would really like it. Luckily 90% of the time I do like it. Now I not only have a pretty book on my shelf but it's also really good.
I bought some books last weekend based off the covers and The House in the Cerulean Sea is a must read for all!!! It is so so so good and I only picked it up because the cover is amazingly illustrated in my mind.
Have you never heard of the Greek mythology of Hades and Persephone? It’s not just the book making it up, it’s an actually mythological story from forever. 😂 My friend read If He Had Been With Me and she really liked it! I wasn’t a fan of A Touch of Darkness but the cover is sooo stunning !
4:38 long division, if you didnt pick it up, is read front to middle, and back to middle. its a dual perspective book, and you flip the book to read the second. in case you ever need a "books you have to read weirdly" kinda thing lol
Oh that seems cool I’m intrigued. If you read this book can you tell me if you liked it? Is it worth the read? (of course you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to)
You should read Lies Like Wildfire by Jennifer Lynn Alvarez! Has a gorgeous cover and really greatplot line. It's a thriller and needless to say I was definitely scared.
Dream On sounds really interesting I might have to pick it up! The Cheerleaders has been on my TBR for so long but I've never gotten around to reading it because I'm worried it wont be as good as I'm hoping. Also I'm currently in a Greek Mythology class and so Touch of Darkness kind of made me cringe because Hades is Persephone's uncle 🙃 (her dad is Zeus and Zeus is Hades' brother). Anyway, I'm super excited to hear what you think about the books!
This is a good idea, but with a thrift store instead of Barnes. Thrift stores don't have the big selection, and you can truly find unique finds. That's where I get a lot of my books from, plus they are cheaper. I have a few book videos in a book playlist on my channel, but not too many.
A Touch of Darkness sounds SO interesting! I will definitely pick it up if u enjoy it. Dream On sounds like a book I read called All This Time by Rachael Lippincott and Mikki Daughtry, it was 4 stars
i read ‘if he had been with me’ like 2ish years ago when i first started getting back into reading and it’s one of the only books to ever make me cry !! so so so good
Go into Pride and Premeditation blind! I think that'll make it more fun! I did that with Sense and Second Degree Murder by the same author (A spin on Sense and Sensibility) and I liked it a little bit more!
The great alone is such a great book and I personally thing that you would like it you should read it for sure( also just putting this at the beginning of the video I don’t know if you actually got this )
Hey, İ was hoping for your physically tbr video. Anyways, İ liked this as well. İ am also a sucker for pretty covers. And even the booktok books, İ buy them first who have thw prettiest cover. And read them. Lota of love.
7 books a months sounds like a lot to me😂 this means around 2 books a week. I dont think i can read 2 books in a week. After 2,5 hours of reading a day i am exhausted
If He Had Been With Me is a really bad book. It's depressing and quite the downer. Besides that, these all sound like interesting reads, I'm going to check Dream On myself
Omg this is such a cool video!❤ I’d be so nervous to buy books without knowing anything😂 I just started doing booktube and I would love if you checked out my videos! Love your channel so much💕
