Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department: Ladder Company 3 responding as mutual aid to Rockbridge County at the 3600 block of South Buffalo Road for a reported chimney fire.
Ladder 3 - 2003 Sutphen with a 430hp Caterpillar C12 (1500/500), 75ft mid mount.
Captured with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver.
Federal Q2B Siren, Code 3 V-Con Siren, & Grover Air Horns.

Using the siren (q) more would be very helpful on narrow roads. I often hear the siren from afar, and have time to safely pull over, not risking a "surprise" turning a corner, or over a hilltop.

I mean yeah sure, but the siren will do just as good, working with a Rural FD that has no Q's generally speaking you don't even really need to respond with the siren, specially wit h the traffic levels like this.

Turner Griffin thanks for the clarification love the vids and one more question can you do a walk around of your units and tell use things like what you carry on board what your normal position on that unit and what the lights look like
