So far it seems pretty cool. I'm still kind of getting the feel of it since it's my first gas fifth Scale but it's definitely a different experience :-)

Awesome! Yeah check out my bashing video as well on this I was extremely impressed with it. This was my first fifth scale gas vehicle and I made a good choice. I've heard that the Short course truck is a sweet vehicle as well! Are you going to put the max4 in your electric conversion? A sub to my channel is appreciated :-)

@@DoRC I saw your bashing video and the buggy you have is really tough and i saw Thunder RC's videos on the 5T clone and it has mostly sold me on one since 30DN made a V2 version since i first saw them. I considered doing a Max 4 or the new Max 5 G2 system in my electric conversion but i'm a little worried the diffs won't be able to handle 12S power. the only worry i have is that the stupid RC electric conversion kit for the 5t 2.0 won't work for the 30DN DTT-7 V2 even though it is essentially a clone of a 5T 2.0

Yeah I've got all the upgrades to swap mine over to the V2 I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.

@@DoRC It would be cool to see you upgrade this buggy i might get one someday but first i want to get the 30 North 5ive-T clone or a real Losi 5ive-T 2.0 in the next few years. But first i'm going to work on my X-Maxx and Outcast 8s EXB before buying my first gas or nitro truck.

That would be really cool. Not entirely sure how I would mount it but I'm sure there are ways. We'll see how the engine goes for me :-)

@@DoRC I keep watching for notifications on the wide arm video! Considering this buggy, and want to see how it does with wide arm kit as well as see you drive it more!

I haven't sent it 20 ft in the air yet but I did jump at about 7 ft in the air today and it handled it just fine. Not sure that's what it's designed for though :-) it's beefier but it's also a lot heavier. Definitely fun in its own right though. More fun than I thought it would be actually. Pretty much everything in between the differentials such as the center driveline etc is unique but most of the suspension differentials towers etc are compatible with the 5B from what I know. I haven't checked every single part but I have used a few and they have worked

@@DoRC yeah I noticed that too. Seems like on my baja I've been having to use more of the actual rovan/king motor parts and not hpi parts cause they don't fit like they used too years ago. Like axle extenders for axample from TGN they fit fine on the rear but don't fit on the front cause the control arm thickness hits the button head cap and locks up the steering.

@@bryan70546 yeah I feel like there's more clone parts out there than real parts these days. Small differences intolerances probably make a lot of inconsistencies for fitment.

@@DoRC they have definitely improved over the years. But from a bussiness standpoint they probley want you buying there parts and not the competition lol

@@bryan70546 for sure. Im amazed at the durability of the 30 north. I dont see people jump these 1/5 scales very high often so i didnt really know what to expect.
