He ain’t lying, when Bo hit the streets everybody was bumping it if you was in the streets. And when that Til my casket Drop came out it was over all you heard was the knock going down the street. I still bump it and then youngsters be bopping their heads asking me “who that is!”
Shit is a classic. C Bo had a huge impact. He was the most west coast of any rapper. Sac has some bay influences since it’s not far but they gang banged so it had that LA so cal to it but he still repped sac. Real pioneer.
I'm from Illinois we bump his shit n the 90 stand in the kitchen palms inching why nigga cooking up quarter chicken hoping feds don't raid all nigga try do is get paid
One time in late '03 I came to my homegirl's house in Meadowview and Fed Ex was leaving from her spot. Fed use to run plays with her. Earlier that day they had ran a play and had some apparel they were trying to get off. I spent the night over there and the next day woke up hustlin', baby gave me 3 nike hats to get off (all white w/ a blue check). I go to Oak Park with my cousin and Bo is out there on 33rd with some reputable Bloods (one just came home in '21 was on the yard with Big Meech in Oregon). I'm chopping it up wit Bo. Ended up showing him the hats, so he decided to buy one 1. 5 minutes later he walks off and comes back. He had this mixtape he was selling independently but not distributing through stores. He asked if we trade the hat for the mixtape. So I said fuck it, gave him the $10 back he shot me for the hat. Now, most niggas wouldn't off done that, but I knew I was getting gold. I slapped that shit 1 time and it was knocking. Left it at my patnas house later that day and never seen that shit again.
That’s wild. Oak park wasn’t beefin with the Gardens back then? Ik Loma Verde and meadowview piru was funkin with Gardens. Used to seem like the Garden blocc was surrounded by opps
@@bigdiccelmo5028 I don't remember too well what the nature of all the beef was around that time . I was a teenager and what I remember was the formation of certain clicks that's still at odds today. I was a Bay cat that had moved out here and was just embraced in different neighborhoods because of family affiliation or the fact I lived in particular neighborhoods. But I will say Bo had family that were reputable in those Blood circles.
Been a fan since the beginning....I'd just like to add since it wasn't mentioned. The money by the ton video told me all I needed to know about the rise of BO. Had 40 and them niggas in the back like backup dancers!!!😳🤨. So it was epic but coulda been MAJOR major!!
"The lil bgs didnt bust no caps after a 5 minute shootout still got a loaded strap Man and yall supposed to be hardcore Banger and I got the only empty compact chamber" RIP Q ball
Money By The Ton- A true C-Bo classic! Maybe people thought Bo may have gone to No Limit at the time because wasn’t that beat produced by DJ Darryl who was No Limit’s producer at the time?
I need to rebuy Til My Casket Drops and One Live 2 Life. Ps Much Gratitude for sharing this. Pps Life is similar to that movie Traffic, alot of intersectionality. Ppps Peace to Pac.
Could you imagine if BO had the technology we do now and how easy it is to network now ,back in the 90’s . Kids have no idea how hard shit was back then.
But that’s always what made the music classics to this day. Time and effort put into the music and marketing of albums is what made most 90’s rappers legends ‼️
R.i.p. 29 STr Big Q,Ball died at that video shoot . Love from the locc shouts out to da 29.24,21 GBC Pep ,len, dog out the 4 lieutenant bread, big rattler ,Slim out that 9 ♿💯
@@godbodykarate2555 oh ok. Ik Lynch has a song about it. Gangsta Dre has a song about it dissing them. I think Mr Doc does to or he at least has a verse on the incident
He already spoke about this on the Smoke Alot Podcast you boys gotta do a better job of asking questions fo sho 🤦🏾♂️ it’s basically a replay of his last interview word for word
Bo was Tupac favorite rapper facts 💯 triple threat 3 was a group Mike c DC ray n 1 other guy name butch or something like that. 1 thing that nigga can do is freestyle his ass off that's that shit from cya
@@bobbyjohnson5797 No. Not the same one. This is Big No Love who was rapping as Mike C in sac’s first group, triple threat 3, back in the day like opening for run dmc. Before gangsta rap. Later on he signed to X-Raided and Madman as Big No Love, before starting his own Record Label C-Way Muzicc which includes artists like Sav Sicc, Bleezo etc. No Love, X & Bo were all locked up in the pen together.
@@bigdiccelmo5028 i dont know if that’s true or not to be honest but ur not tripping cuz if i had to guess i would have guessed the same thing. Ill find out though. But in the meantime lynch is finishing season of the siccness 2 and Raided has a new album he just finished dropping under strange music. So check those out
