My brother caught me with a Ridge hand in the throat when I was a kid and it hurts just thinking about it. Lol I love all the street tactics, they have become a lost art since the birth of the UFC. Thanks for the videos. Please keep doing them brother!

If you have ever taken a shot of any kind to the throat and had it spasm you know how serious this strike is. All you can think about is "Will I ever breath again or am I dying?" I pass so many of your videos on to my students because they are always based on real life situations . Thanks Sensei

Thank you very much for the support I really appreciate it and that's why do this. And I have hit people in the throat and had them drop immediately, And I have been hit in the throat in a fight I know firsthand how it feels... So being on both sides, I know for fact it is a great target.Again thank you very much for the support.

Is it effective to chop with the outside of the hand? It seems there is a real danger of breaking your thumb the way instructed. I have had a previous break there (painful) and was curious. Thanks for the video, btw.
