This gameplay footage was recorded before Fortnite was updated to a new version of Unreal Engine, which requires a feature that some older CPU's do not have. Because of this, some older PC's with older CPU's cannot launch Fortnite anymore. I don't have this PC anymore and cannot test whether this applies to Q9650.

Well, unfortunately a better GPU wouldn't help much, since the CPU is the problem with an increasing amount of modern games. This CPU is so old it's missing some critical instruction sets causing many games to not even launch anymore. Pairing any more recent GPU with this CPU would be a waste of that GPU.
