when i switch my second bevel to edges, nothing happens, changing the offset doesnt do anything either im using R21 anyone know whats going on?

I switched to blender after being on cinema since day one. Didn't like the direction it was taking. Downloaded every maddafacking addon in existence and realized I tried to emulate cinema. Now I'm back on cinema 🤪🤣🤣
