If you want to paint your cover, Dupli-Color Metalcast "Red Anodized" is a perfect match to the valve covers, and heat-proof to 500 degrees...I used 2 coats of VHT gray primer and 4 coats of the Metalcast Red...
I had previously bought the lightbar brand and I loved it but the button failed quickly on 2 separate units so I would not recommend the lightbar brand, which is being pushed hard on the Internet, this one you see on the video I just picked up on Amazon the other day, time will tell how they work, some of them get pretty hot on your head this this 1 did not, they say the charge last all day but it does not , continues use, a few hours, Comfortable wearing on your head I would not do without them for automotive work and/or my day job as an electrician, You may have to try a couple different brands to find one that works best for you but I would not do without them it puts the light right where you need it. I'm not sure what they charge from the factory but if I remember right mine was around $500, I saved the old one and hung it on the garage wall as wall art and then when I got rid of the car I put the original 1 back on
