Two points. 1. most modifications that owners perform from the factory, ruin the car. This is no exception, and they further devalue the car on resale. Many modifications, clutter the aesthetic, introduce ground clearance issues including lowering. I worked at Chevy Engineering where the Corvette was designed. Going back to a C1, an unmolested, original car is always worth more than a modified car. From a ground effects standpoint, many including me prefer minimalism. I prefer for example a Z06 to a Z07 for that reason. 2. I would never buy a used, modified Corvette, ever. No, owners never know better than the factory what is better than the designers of the car.
I wish mine didn’t, but sadly it does…..same state as this video. Have friends who refuse to put on the front plate, just a matter of time for a traffic ticket. ☹️
