I did temp comparisons before for the trunk insulation video I made and I ended up deleting it because everyone ended up arguing about real world conditions vs track…. So I don’t plan to do that again. My guess is there will be hardly any difference.

Do you actually use your rear window? I have a 2lt and have no need to see out the rear window due to the camera on the roof sending the rear view to the mirror. The refitting multiple times is because this is the first version of this setup and it came without a template. I do think the company will work on including a template after my feedback. (I certainly hope so) But yeah, as with anything measure twice, cut once.

I honestly don’t know how lol 😂 I could never see out mine before. Occasionally some bright headlights would shine through from behind but that’s it. I can still see out the rear if i turn around now. But the car is garaged and I’ve never had to use the defrost.

Keeping the glass clean would be wicked easy if you ceramic coat the glass. I didn’t mention the price because 2-3 years from now it could be different than what it is today. If you’re interested in the pricing, I’d message the company through instagram and get a quote. For me the pricing included shipping from Lithuania to Colorado and the total seemed extremely fair. I paid full price, and only told the company I was releasing a video after it arrived to avoid any special treatment. Hopefully that helps!

Yeah it’s also going to depend on color. I know originally they were only making them in black. This is the first color matched set so there’s a chance I was charged more than someone who would order black. I’d imagine the fancier colors will cost more. I will say, the color match is perfect though. I was worried about that since even my local paint shops can’t match colors properly.

Trust me, no matter what you do to this platform there’s going to be hate. I’m in my early thirties and everyone assumes daddy paid for my car and I’m “ruining” it by modifying it. It’s your car, do what YOU want to it and enjoy it. Not everyone needs to like it. As for the glue, it’s included with the kit but it’s P550 window adhesive.

It's because Lambo doors have long been associated with the "ricer" community or a poser. I personally hate Lambo doors but everyone has their likes. I like these scoops BTW. 😂

I made it. It’s just a piece of gloss black vinyl!

Rain, no more than usual as the glas overlaps from the top down. With a car wash it doesn’t even matter due to the open vents we have even stock. We have what I call a “wet engine bay” that required drying everytime the car gets wet regardless of which rear window setup you have.

Just to mention, those glass pieces are in 2 degree slope, that helps all rain to drain down 👌🏻

I don't get any water in my engine bay ever lol. Never drive my C8 in the rain and hand wash with C8 vent covers. Water + Metal= Rust no matter what they say lol

@@eddieespinosa2880 Thats great, I don't mind drying my engine bay though. It gives me a chance to look over everything, check for leaks and issues.

Just issues with bubbling, warpage and gaps between the sides and it appears the scoops are not identical between sides.

I can’t really put a number on it at the moment. Technically the C8 doesn’t really need more cooling as it’s pretty efficient however there is no fresh air source from the top of the hatch from the factory, so I think the answer is; more than stock 😂 until I test it with an airflow meter and compare to stock. It’s also too cold currently in Colorado to test temp differences.
