First of all, No Hindus would be stopped from coming to India in todays time. Second of all the Indian Gov is no one to adjudicate upon whether or not Rohingyas would enter considering they are asylum seekers and temporary refugees. Now the point here is to stop these asylum seekers from permanent settlement in the same the SC took an Intervention in the case of Assam Mahasangh vs Union of India wherein it asked the Gov to make an intervention to enforce laws for temporary settlement. Now having Muslim Neighbour countries does not change anything because Rohingyas would still be considered as a minority which might be the cause of there persecution.

Firstly their large donation came from their dispora in middle east and due to donation initiative by newspaper like The hindu (south based)... not because central govt was keen to help it... and above all active state government which work like anything... They want to do everything on Shock therapy mode which is not good. However, I think the govt is trying to tackle a humongous problem of history that Congress govt ignored and let grow. Indian Muslim leaders and so called secular leaders instead of fanning anger should have dialogue with govt and help firm up processes better so that foreigners can be easily identified while Indian Muslims need not worry.
