Why Does Your Car AC Get Warm At Idle? The reason your car's A/C may become warm when idling is that the flow of refrigerant slows down, which affects its cooling ability. The cooling fan may also not be getting enough airflow when the vehicle is stationary, leading to the same issue.

Off video topic while at idle have u had any problems with the ac to where u have it on cold and circulating and it seems like ac gets cold then after a few it gets somewhat warmer then after the fan kicks on it get cold again

Yup! I am not sure if this is a design flaw or due to something else. We have had the AC system serviced and replaced components and it still does the same thing.

@Amundred ya while at idle ill have mine at 60 and the ac button pushed it will get cold as long as the fan is on but once the fan turns off it feel like to goes from 60 to like 65-70 degrees even though the screen still says 60
