Time to head back to the cabin for some work, some relaxing and a short hike. I wanted to do something a little different this trip and bring the viewers over to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. We've mentioned it a lot over the years, so it was time to do it. Great scenery, and an easy walk on the Barbour Rock trail. Had some drone issues there, so I will be back for more of that, but still got some nice video.
Back to the cabin for some good cooking and a few chores. Also need to test out the Bond stove by Warmbond to see if it's an option for our relocated fire pit area.
The clover field is struggling due to the lack of rain in the area this Spring, but put down some fertilizer to help it along when it decides to rain up there. No rain in the forecast for the next 10 days, may have to replant late Summer for early Fall.
Cooked up some scallops, and a ribeye during the trip and also made a stop at the Wellsboro House for a great shrimp scampi dinner.
Did a little work on the new stand also, put a lock on the door and started to spray paint the base. It's really not needed because there are deer and bear around it just about every day.
Brought up a replacement Adirondack chair to replace one that fell apart and was burned up during the Spring Trip. I got one in red to remember Sr. with.
While on the deck had a nice looking black bear come by, good to see them from an elevated position so you can just enjoy watching them. Also saw two doe with newly born fawns this trip.
Added some Challenge coins to the Blue Pot Cafe, and took a few minutes to honor our fallen heroes for Memorial Day 2023.
