The C8 and CT5-V BW couldn’t be more opposite. 4 doors vs 2, front vs mid-engined, supercharged vs normally aspirated, manual vs automatic. I doubt anyone is cross shopping these unless their criteria is GM performance cars.

Who compares a 2 seater sports car with a performance sedan. With the CTV, the best of both world, you can carry your family and friends when you need it, and track it on the weekends.

Gimme the CT5. Very unique. Anyone remember the Chevy SS that looked like a regular Uber.

You also can't take the whole family in the C8, but one of these will fit the average family.

Why would you compare a sports car to a 4 door sedan?

I hear you there. Especially looking for one for sale. Even base model spec's are asking $115-120k. Im crying inside because my 2 all time favorite GM cars (this & c7 zr1 ztk manual) are both very rare, sought after, last-of-their-kind rides costing wellll over $100k. And safe to say theyre only gonna go up in price. So when the day comes that i could afford an $80-100k car.. theyll both be atleast 2x that😭😭😭

Thats exactly why im in love with it. It's the do-it-all 'super-saloon', it has massive power/acceleration, 3 pedals, great interior & comfort, but also handles & brakes like nobodys business. Running on ps4s's it pulls 1.05g of grip, which isnt too far off the c7 z06 on the same tires! And i love that it looks inconspicuous to normal people (like the ctsv wagons), but to me & other car guys, the design is menacing & perfect. Im 25, but still have never been the type to want the super-flashy cars that draw attention (like a corvette), so this beast checks all the boxes.. except for the affordability part lol. Congrats on your purchase though, the white interior is the way to have it👍

@@iliakrestinskii7038 You will be happy enough with a Mustang GT or a nice GT350, or a Roush Mustang. Stay away from the manual Hellcat because they will break tires loose at high speeds. I had them all except my Hellcat were automatics.

@@x_cadillac_xx-2551 no, not the sound (though that’s different obviously). I meant 4-pipe on the Blackwing vs 2 on the regular V-Series, correct?

@@wesleywalls7582 also 4 in the V, just the square tips are not connected with the pipes. diffuser is different. side fender vents are extra, also brake calipers, BW has Front 6 and rear 4, V has Front 4 and rear single. that's about it, if you don't option the carbons, they are really hard to tell differences. I have 2020 Base V AWD in Evergreen Color, have the Platium pkg, probably keep it for 10 years, lol, it's not cheep

@@jackd232 gotcha. I agree that overall the exterior differences are very subtle. I’m not sure what Cadillac’s logic was here.

There is almost ZERO difference between the CT4 blackwing and the CT5 Blackwing. a 0.1 second difference in terms of 0-60 and if your not gonna track the car who GAF about a 0.1 second. Theres a MILLION variables for that type of time difference. lol. #CadillacVForTheWin

Non-American cars are complete trash (excluding Lamborghini).

I prefer Bridgestone on the back and front I takes at least 15 minutes to warm them up on the road So real wheel drive on some 35 km per hours, yes km , not miles, we do 125 km per hour on a Belgian battle of the Bulge country side road Btw, I almost hit my youngest brother stupid M3 Afterwards 339 km on the Autobahn towards Koln Germany with 2/3 of the push😎

Red is NUMBER 1 for the most ticketed cars by cops. It draws the eye...hahaha Should've went with the pearl white, then changed to Crystal white. Not sure what they call it now but that color with the carbon fiber accent packages is STUPID 🔥
