I feel like nobody remembers midnight in Paris. I loved that film and yes it was better than this one.

I thought it was really enjoyable, about as good a late-period Woody Allen film as we're gonna get. There was pretty consistent laughter throughout in the cinema when I saw it, Eisenberg, Stewart and Carrell were all very good and it was beautiful visually. It's obviously not up there with his absolute best but the guy's 80 and has made a film a year since the late 70s (with his last 'year off' being in the 80s if I remember correctly), to expect him to still be putting out films of the caliber of his 80s work seems unreasonable

Why is he making so many movie recently? Is it not better to take your time and produce quality over quantity?

This is one of the good ones from Woody Allen, like Mark said it's blue jasmine and neither irrational man but still very enjoyable, the chemistry between JE and KS was so believable. There was scene earlier in the movie between JE and some girl in a hotel room and she was so good I thought we were going to see more of her, but no that was her only scene, you know you're in for a good movie when they easily have such good actors playing a scene or 2.

I saw this last night. Feels little formulaic. It was okay - but not vintage Woody. I still think that "Match Point" is the best of his most recent films.

"It passed the time" - the minimum you should expect in a film ;)

It is a nice, feel good movie (which sounds a bit odd being a Woody Allen film) but it isn't amazing. However the outfits are beautiful and so are the settings and the photography... I have to say that I am a bit tired of the couple Stewart-Eisenberg . She has no talent, always playing the same character (herself) and she doesn't do justice to the beautiful 1930s outfits.

Woody's had other people playing 'the Woody Allen character' for decades now. Best for me was Scarlett Johanssen in Scoop. Absolute worst was Kenneth Branagh in Celebrity.

Kenneth Branagh wasn't really channeling... more just doing a bad impersonation.

Irrational Man wasn't bad, it was far better than Cassandra's Dream, Scoop, Match Point, To Rome with Love, Magic in the Moonlight etc. as far as late-period Allen films go.

This is the opposite of any movie I ever would watch, in this universe or any other universe and indeed in every realm of possibility.

Going to give this one a miss. It seems like I have seen all of this before. And I am not a big fan of the 2 main actresses in the film.

This is seriously the worst film I've ever seen! The only reason I didn't leave in the middle was because my girlfriend was enjoying sleeping through it. The vacuity of the content was highlighted by the lushness of the cinematography.

You must've been really lucky in avoiding bad films if this is the worst you've seen

Predictable, cheesy, stale, bad acting and disappointing... I was nodding off in the middle of the movie
