Angel Reese only has her family watching. She is the same old can't dribble, can't shoot, can't jump, can't pass that's been in the WNBA for 25 years and nobody watched.
I can’t stand people who are claiming Angel Reese isn’t a huge deal also. Angel was a big deal prior to the NCAA championship game and that moment propelled them both. Angel has tons of fans and supporters also. Just because you guys only like Caitlin and are only seeing things about Caitlin doesn’t mean Angel isn’t a huge deal and bringing in big crowds. Like think critically (which I know is hard for some of you to do)
Angel doesn't sellout, doesn't draw ratings, doesn't sell merchandise, and was a 7th pick. Only people who really care about Reese are insecure black fermales.

why they are still tagging reese name?, CC is the only reason for the attendance record, CC dont need reese to get people to watch the wnba, just look at the attendance when reese is not playing CC, and CC can fill up arena no matter who her team plays.

She doesn’t give bland interviews, is animated and real in her responses. She has “it” both on and off the court. There’s a reason she had far more NIL deals in college than CC did. You just don’t want to face the truth.
after 26 games, she is a mere 220 points short of A'ja Wilson's rookie points, she's 11th for rookies ppg all time. I keep the rookie records page open. I think you look at those stats, Clark dominates, a strong presence in multiple skills, Reese has rebounds. its not even close.

well i didn’t know double double was just rebound and last time sky played fever angel 27pts and 16 rebounds don’t seems like that’s just rebounding but yah whites swear cc is the best when last time i checked she lead the wnba in turnovers too her last game she can have all the numbers she want but her stats don’t results to her winning but individual awards but will never win games that count from her losing in both college championships 24 points 19 assists and still lost angel big stats equals to her team winning
Reese’s game is boring. A m0r0n like Shaq can do it well. Caitlin is the draw. Angel would be irrelevant if she hadn’t taunted Caitlin [and didn’t get called a foul for it BTW]. Double-doubles = over 6,000 of them. Triple-doubles = ONLY 35 of them. CC, again, is the draw.
Does the media actually think viewers don't look at the actual stats? The WNBA started out in the late 90's with a pretty decent rating overall. After a couple years, it declined and more or less evaporated over a 5-10 year span. The last 2 years they made increases of like 5%-10% total viewership. This year, they have exploded with 11 of the top 12 viewed games being Indiana Fever games with Clark. I have not seen the stats for Chicago attendance in non-Indiana games but would assume there is at least some increase due to Reese, probably more than what the average WNBA increase is. If Paige stays healthy, they could see more uptick next year as well. And more uptick when Juju arrives, not sure if that is next year or a couple years from now. The new, younger players are bringing a different set of skills and style to the game which people find entertaining.
@@jodale1972 it also helps that we can follow these ladies from the beginning of their journey. Like Lemello Ball is one of the most popular players, because we watched him grow up and fulfill his goals. Paige and JuJu has been on the radar for so long already, they're sensations. Of course the game backs up the hype, but the ease of access gives them an advantage over older players.
The goal is to rep the W and get women's basketball more exposure. This 'all about Clark' mentality is disrespectful to all those who made this current reality possible

I actually think 2.2 billion over the next 11 years is a bit too little. The fastest growing league is the W and the way it’s going, in 6 years their salaries (from this new media deal) will be too little. But at least they are getting someone way more than they are getting now, so that’s a start!
Sky vs Liberty broke an attendance record. The numbers support Reese being a huge draw as well as Caitlin. Give the lady her due. All that hatred is bad for you. Also can't overlook the league has been growing over the previous few seasons, and ready to pop. The rookies came in and blew it out of the water, but its been years in the making. Paige and JuJu will also push the league along with the two expansion teams in Canada and Cisco. Finally seeing the WNBA thriving, and I love it. Been watching since the inaugural season in 1997.

If this is the single sample size then don't look at the overall attendance #s for the season. It's fever by 6k fans per game home and away. 15.9k fever, 9.6k chicago.
All I know is Mabrey asked to get out of the toxic environment known as the "Chicago Sky". I am so glad for her to be freed. The team consists of DEI Coach "Spoon the Loon"; Crazy Carter, and Angel "Me First" Reese. Spoon too tolerant and dismissal of Carter's antics; Mabrey tired of the undue focus on Reese and her fabricated stats at the expense of other players and the team. Sky is throwing in the towel and will fold. The Sky is literally falling. You go Mabrey and I look forward to you whipping the Sky when you play them next.

Every metric from merchandise to TV ratings and attendance on the road shows that Caitlin is unequivocally the player who moves all the needles! Caitlin Clark is driving the new age of viewership. Angel wouldn't even be causing more viewership then the OLD WNBA standard, but is getting some attention for playing along side the league with CC. Thumbnail is reportable fraud.
