I had the absolute pleasure to own an 06 European model brought by Yamaha here to NZ, it was a true weapon, yet a great Sunday cruiser as well, I’lll Heath saw me let it go to a collector. These bikes are not for the timid, they are quite capable of hitting the needle stopper on the speedo when placed in the right hands. Definitely no chicken strips on the tyres, oh if I was still able too ride.....

I had a GSX1400, no fly screen and got 155mph once, bloody hell you gotta hang on for dear life.

@DexterGoneWild I've ridden around without fairings while mine were getting painted and didn't notice that much of a difference.

Am I the only one that seems to have trouble doing twisties on a fighter style motorcycle with no upper fairing? When I took the fairings off my bike and tried doing some S curves, I couldn't lean it over at all...didn't seem to wanna turn

FJR1300 was the worst handling bike on PS2's TOURIST TROPHY (Gran Turismo on Bikes - If you don't have it GET IT) Love the way it boings round those sweepers, my RD 250 used to do that... scary! Is it just the camera angle or did he have to use the grass quite a lot? Awesome Brave!
