Resistance Band Calf Workout | In this video I show you how to develop and grow your calfs only using resistance Bands. I do this entire workout straight from my home. More than just calf raises. I show quite a few exercises so you can have a lot of choices. Remember this is just part of a Leg workout, so make sure that you workout the rest of your legs after this workout.

Ive lost 90lbs with dieting alone and now im doing some resistance band exercises to build some muscle. I still carry some fat in my chest and in the stomach/oblique area, any exercises you recommend to work those areas?

Here’s the thing. ru-vid.comUgkxS7ex6L4sMqpaTn4LnBPyBmRQsSingL8y These are not meant to be stretched to 12ft or 14ft or whatever else where you’re a 6ft person, stepping in the band and trying to do standing shoulder presses. If they tear, (assuming they’re not defective) then you’re trying to stretch them way too far. For a full body stretch, bands should be like three feet long, doubled over. Don’t buy the bad press. A fully extended reverse fly is avoid as far as you should stretch these. If it’s too easy, use more than one band at a time.Not rocket science.

What's kind of funny here is that half of this workout is actually a tibialis anterior (front of the shin) workout not a calf workout, but it is still a highly important, vastly neglected muscle, in & of itself.

hey Discipline Dave, i just got into resistance band workouts and they are awesome! i have a question - in keeping with the spirit of NO ATTACHMENT SERIES where I found this video, is there anyway to perform the Reverse Seated Calf Press without the use of any attachments? if not, what's a great alternative for it? cheers!

That first exercise is *really* uncomfortable with the band gauging my neck, and I barely feel a burn in my calves, using green thickest band.

Why would you put the bands under your heels? All that does is give you an assist on the way up, defeating the purpose.

Hello discipline Dave. You have pretty good technique and I would love to see a leg work out people with disabilities. I have muscular dystrophy and I cannot walk without the assistance of a walker and leg braces. I have been able to do chest work out and your ab workout, the bicep workout, the tricep workout and the back workout. What I need you to show me mail is a seated work out where I can work my calves in my quads. I would like to work my inner and outer thighs as well. Note: I have muscle atrophy where I cannot move my foot up and down so, I would like you to show me how I can build my calves along with my quads in this type of situation

The first exercise is just a standing calf raise..The band is adding no tension to the calves?

Sorry bud for the confusion. The tension is actually on the negative on the way down. Which is an actual difficult part to get in your calf muscle. I feel like the band under the heel of the foot removes most of the calf's workload and shifts it to the foot? Isn't it better to move the band closer to the toes? (For the standing raise, that is.)

Hey Dave, I wanted to ask you if it's ok for me to do: Monday : full body band workout and 2 more calisthenics workouts (full body too) Tuesday : rest Wednesday : (same as monday) Thursday : Rest Friday : (same as monday and wednesday) Saturday and sunday : REST I hope this made sense and you understood and if you will read this than that would be siiiiick but yea, if this not a good plan than please of you could tell me what plan would be good for me I'm a teenager and I want to get the best gains i could indoors, thank you!! 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
