I just bought the Autel 906TS, so this video along with the others like the Ford programming are great. the Autel does so much I feel like I'm barely using it's capabilities, do you just play around with it or was there some documentation you found that explains the data pids and procedures? As always great Video, keep em coming.
James Svetlovics just been doing it a long time. Some trial and error. I used to use dealer software before the scanners got so advanced. Basically I know what needs to be done when I get to a job. I use the autel to get into tat module and then try and see if the special functions or programming options can do what I need. These new cars are changing faster then I've ever seen and there are new procedures and control modules every year. I just take what I do know and use it to try and learn what i don't. I find out what the tool can do along the way when I come across something new.
Hello ...do you know..if the maxixis can calibrate frond head lights assamble...on a 2014 mercedez e350 this is a $1800 light assamble not included the module bolted below the head light. Module its bad too.
Your actually supposed to to set up a perimeter of tape at specified distances from the wheel hub and center lines. Then you calibrate each camera, even if only one was affected. I’m a calibration technician and we charge body shops almost a 1,000 dollars for that, which is less than the dealership believe it or not. This is the problem with having an expensive tool that you don’t understand.
Cherryell Bradley need a little more info. Make and model. You can rewrite mileage and vin on most dodge vehicle ecus which will correct the skim or skreem and prevent a no start. If you can let me know the year and model I can let you know for sure and how to.
thanks for the response i just needed to know if it would do any also will the mini do any key programming at all. i have a small repair garage and just looking for another tool we can do gm and ford but looking for something to help on others.
Cherryell Bradley yes it will. It does exactly what the 906bt and 908 will do. I had one I used for 2 years then switched to the 906. Exact same tool. Some people might say different but trust me I used them both on thousands of cars combined and they are practically identical software wise. 905 is just a little smaller.
