I was fine with Californians moving here, but its been weird like they brought drug addiction with them. Like I've never even thought about drugs, but all of sudden there is drug abuse.

I fully understand why Montana doesn’t want liberal Californias. Not ALL Californias have the liberal views. I’ve lived in California 51yrs. And am moving to Montana. I won’t change Montana. I will allow it to change me.

Californian here, I feel the same way; I am considering moving to Montana and if I do, I will be the one to adapt. I am not going to expect everyone around me to adapt.

I'm from Val d'Europe, in Magny, which is a small rural area, located outside of Paris, France. When I moved to Montana, I fit right in... and I think it has something to do with Magny and most of the state of Montana are quite similar. Of course, just different languages. But similar psychology within the civilians.

Sorry bud, there's a strong chance that I am goin up there. Remember there are a lot of good Californians who are trapped in the state, no one should be subjected to communism; the one's who want it can have it, but for me I need to live in a true American state, not a communist hell. Don't worry though I am not bringing this madness with me, I want to adapt. God bless, see ya around

Traveling through Montana right now since they closed off Yellowstone. It seems like a really nice state. Nice weather. No drought conditions. Even your cattle here seem very happy compared to the ones we have in California. 😉

I’m from the SF Bay Area and I visited Montana recently and I can see why people here are headed over there. No people smoking crack or shitting on the sidewalk, no massive homeless encampments, friendly people.(Especially after they find out you’re only a tourist) The homes are pricey, but you still get more than what you pay for here and the taxes are lower too. If I ever move out there I promise I’ll completely assimilate, buy a truck with a gun rack, and vote Republican.

not everyone in California is in a dense metro area, it can get pretty rural in some parts. it is just the LA and Bay area which are shrinking. Fresno and San Diego had really good growth in the 2020 census cuz they are still affordable. I live in a suburb of a suburb of LA. No where is walkable, lol and it is 3 hours from LA, and we do not have our own culture or anything. It is just so lame, while being incredibly overpriced. My parents house is 2000square feet and 1.2million dollars. I am 18 now, still in school, and want to move out of this place to a walkable area with close accesses to nature and far from the beach, cuz I hate the beach and how often people talk about the beach. Montana might be the option, but I am not sure because I have never experienced actual weather b4. The coldest I have ever felt was 30degrees, lol

@@quinton01 For me absolutely not. If someone votes for a communist hell they deserve to live in it. If I live in Montana, which I would like to, I will be adapt to Montana culture and embrace Montana's way of life. I am sure you've heard it before, but it's true nonetheless: not all Californians are liberal and many are very conservative and are essentially trapped in a communist hell. If anything, after my time in the army and going to california, my views have become even more conservative considering I witness liberal policies firsthand.
