You don't need a gym, but it helps push your boundaries. Plus, here, he's using equipment to raise the height of his moves on, practicing more balance, and causing more gravity and more skill to maintain more focus for that distance and movement. Calisthenics has plenty of equipment that is used. Bands, bars, etc. Even with weight, you're working out with your body, just strapping on weight to do the body workouts. Whereas, most people who workout in a gym just use free weights as the workout itself.

He happens to record his moves and is amused of people loving it. So, if an artist is making an art piece, and a person is blown away by the drawing/painting/etc. on camera, then it's posted online, that artist is automatically "thirsty"? 💀🤡😂Nayyyy.
