Same with BO 2010. Somehow they add absolutely irrelevant weapons while overlooking the real deal Cold War weapons. And some people still boast about unique Cold War setting.
@@abohachuk4765 bo1 was awesome the guns in that game were great meanwhile adding bad guns and ugly replacements as well with all the other bad things about bo cw makes everyone dislike it I like the game but it's annoying that somehow they don't add the same guns from previous games and the ones they do are bad Cold war is almost like a fan game of bo1 it's just terrible
If you can get the links to engage with the feed pawls, it should be doable. There are videos out there about "speed reloading" a Browning M2 by doing roughly the same thing.
@@StarkRaven59 Never seen it happend irl so... Also i feel like pulling hard on disintegrating links could cause a malfunction. It might work on M2 but M2 is much bigger machine gun so the parts are more durable so i still feel like pulling ammo belt without lifitng the top cover is not a great idea. @@paladynwiecznegostazuzkraj75 I realize a flaw in my reasoning. The M2 uses a closed bolt, meaning the charging handle will cycle the action every time you pull it. That also includes cycling the feed system that pulls the belt in. The M60 is an open bolt system, so the bolt will lock back after the charging handle is pulled once. That means pulling the charging handle again might not engage the belt feed system. My bad.
@@vizzy61 Yeah, to my surprise when I first found out about it (by then I only knew about modern belt fed MGs which are gas operated and open bolt), the M1917 based MGs were all closed bolt and recoil operated
@@fasulimac92 not really, human size miniguns are heavy but not THAT heavy,there are even microguns that are like mini miniguns and are pretty easy to handle. An exo could help you handle that.

It's possible, check out the Nagant Revolver, with his gas-seal system. Even America built some of them, for Tunnel Rats in the Vietnam War (but i don't remember the name of that revolver)

It's amazing how they managed to take a big rifle like that and make it disappointing. On top of that the chassis doesn't recoil like the real thing does. 2/10, would not boom.
@@Napsta115 Since you holding 2 pistols at your both hands you need to get a mag from the belt or somewhere at the lower part like thighs and reloading at the lower is faster than going up and reload so yeah, reloading dual pistols lower is understandable Also dont you ever think that the mags is at their long sleeves like from the action movie that i forgot that movie which is probably Christian Bale or someone And also my main comment refer to the incorrect Revolver reload

@@ECcR0 Cold War already in development since 2018. So MW had no effect on how it turned out to be. It just a dev change from Sledge to 3Yard in March 2019.

a lot of comments i see comparing CW to MW looks biased because yes, MW has better animations and mechanics but i see CW was supposed to be made as a mix between BO1 and MW, and i like that, gives me a nice fit of nostalgia while playing with newer mechanics
cold war's are fine but stuff like the gallo not pumping, the milano's terrible animations and the extended speed mags just isn't acceptable from a triple a studio
@@freezy2755 though stuff like that is what gives treyarch games their charm, the stacking reload speed perks resulting in unrealistic reload speeds such as any gun with fast mags/sleight of hand gives the idea the black ops series were made for casual fun

Fun fact: the Campaign AK-47 is actually the Type-56, a Chinese made variant. It's distinguishable from the in-game AK by a few factors: notably the front sight is fully enclosed (like the QBZ), has a smooth dust cover and milled receiver. Oddly, it uses an old Soviet "steel smooth" magazine.
The reload sounds familiar with both of the rocket launchers and the handcannon has the same sound as the bo3/4 annihlator, so I wouldn't put it past them reusing sound files or just modifying them
I miss the ohm from advanced warfare. It was a machine gun / belt fed shotgun which was excellent if the enemy got too close. That gun needs a comeback.
It's kind of ironic that Cold War almost does not have tactical reloads but Vanguard does, despite they don't even exist in that time. I mean, atleast their MP is decent. It's just that, their gun inaccuracies go over the top, it even kills actual gun historians and gun keepers.

gun problems (not including the infuriating magazines holding too many or too few rounds or the bastardized naming) 1. MP5, HK Slap sound when charging the gun normally 2. KSP 45, that doesn't even exist though based of the UMP45 3. QBZ 83, the QBZ-95 is a gun from the 1990s 4. Krig 6, the AK-5C was made in 1989, when the Bolt Catch is hit in the double mag animation the bolt doesn't move because it's already forwards 5. Pelington 703, some versions of the Remington 700 have removable mags some don't, but no gun that doesn't have removable mags will have a mag that large not even in the 80s, no round is ejected when pulling back the bolt when reloading 6. RPD, wrong charging handle 7. M60, charging the weapon again wouldn't do anything because it's open bolt 8. RPG, you dont actually rotate the rocket when loading it 9. Gallo 12, it didn't chamber a round so it can't fire 10. Milani 821, not an Uzi but It is open bolt so that clacking sound shouldn't be as loud when the charging handle goes back forwards 11. Bullfrog, that version of the PP-19 doesn't exist 12. AK-74u, it doesn't have the side rail for mounting optics 13. AK-47, see AK-74u, it's an AKM 14. FFAR 1, that's scuffed FAMAS F1, not a gun from the 80s 15. M82, you simply can't reload an M82A1 that fast 16. many of the guns, the magazines are all empty, a few guns have magazines that look cartoonishly light 17. LC10, this gun isn't even based off anything 18. Groza, a gun from the 90s, (in Warzone atleast) it's labeled as 7.62x39 while the version dedicated is the 5.45x39 version 19. FARA 83, no Galil I've heard of uses a charging handle that's that far forwards, the magazine appears far too light and literally floats, the receiver is all wrong 20. Type 63, the version depicated uses AK mags which is possible on Chinese SKSs but the Bolt hold open doesn't work with AK mags 21. AUG, 3 round burst AUG, I get it's for gameplay but no military AUG has ever existed in 3 round burst, the scope is not correct 22. ZRG 20MM, the NTW-20 was devolved in 1998 and is reversed, 23. M134, you can't hold a fucking minigun 24. Diamatti, it should not be that blocky 25. XM4, it's on Seni auto and has no auto seer 26. M16, has no auto seer
4. The FNC can be recreated through Gunsmith but yeah the full fledged FNC should have been included 10. Milano 821 should have had its charging handle on top, since it was actually based on the Uzi. This was actually based on custom mods. 16. True, especially the M82 animations, so comically light. 17. LC10 is mostly a Walther MPK front and middle but yeah the stock is the weirdest of all. 19. FARA 83 is not fully based on the Galil whatsoever, it's an Argentinian original. 23. Same goes for the Juggernaut in MW multiplayer. 24. True, and it is actually the most realistic 93R model. Modern Warfare 2019 had a weird M9 model and the burst conversion in MW was very weird model wise.
I like how a lot of people bash this game for how unrealistic it is. A lot of you completely forget that Call of Duty isn't a Mil-Sim and instead, is an Arcade Shooter (Modern Warfare included, that SCAR and the oil can suppressor on the .357 Magnum in the game's Campagin are absolute sins, but I don't crap on the game in terms of realism bc again, it's a arcade shooter.) If you wanna keep whining about realism in a shooter game, give Escape from Tarkov a try instead of playing Battlefield 2042.

Damn, thats funny watching what people discuss animation in cold war and mw 19. "Fictional" weapons, not accurate in time weapons (qbz, groza and other). If the mw 19 hadn't come out, people wouldn't care.....
The fact that Treyarch has had a more whimsical approach with things has me not expect realism. What people dont get is that Call of Duty (yes, Modern Warfare included) are all arcade shooters, not Mil-Sims. Ofc they're gonna take liberties with their weapons. Now if MW fanboys wanna discus realism, can you tell me why MW's FN SCAR was done dirty and is not accurate to its real world counterpart even though the weapon is labeled to be a product from FN Herstal in game? (I was rather dissapointed considering the FN SCAR has been my favorite AR in every CoD it's been in including the Rampart 17 from Call of Duty Black Ops IV since its a futuristic version of it.)
I've always complained about it, because it's not that hard to go to a museum/reference collection to look at historically appropriate firearms, hell, even on RU-vid, there are videos that are sub 10 minutes that tell you everything you need to know. How it looks, how it functions, what it's called and who uses it etc. The problem is that the way the current Treyarch team do it, and the way Sledgehammer Games do it as well is that the liberties they take to have modularity aren't believable in the slightest, while with older releases such as Black Ops 1, World at War, etc. it was at least accurate enough to not break the emersion and making it painfully obvious that it's a fictional simulation.

In fairness, the FAL, Draganov and others were in MW. Yes it's stupid that they didn't put them in CW but they probably didn't want too many duplicates in warzone
How did they fuck up the sounds of both the m82 and the ntw their supposed to be firing some of the biggest anti material rounds but they sound so weak

5:02 it would have been really cool if they had used the old Barrett M82 with the integrated riser instead of the 82A1 with the full length rail. I think it would have looked a little more accurate to the time period. There’s even some funky muzzle brakes used during the Gulf War era that could’ve been used as attachments. They could have even used Ronnie Barrett’s original prototype - that would have looked awesome.
