“I have to tell you now... it’s country is at war with Germa- wait, what? How? But the Americans aren’t even in the- one person!? I... alright fine! Er... Germany has surrendered to France and the British empire, the war is over.” -Neville Chaimberlain, 1939
People complaining about the graphics: It's on lowest settings (to improve load times and stuff I'm assuming), at higher settings the game is actually really pretty. Runs like shit from what I've heard tho
Yeah ur definitly right there, but CoD was never about the Graphics ^-^ i mean it looks fine for a 2017 Game if u look at other Games this Year or Years before that. They even would have enough money to get a better ingame Graphic and maybe a new Engine ...but im thinking that they are just lazy ...xD
"France has reclaimed Paris." You mean the Allies have liberated Paris, with De Gaulle's token Free French riding at the head of the column and coming to take credit.
it is a common misconception that the blitzkrieg was a strategy reliant on coordinated air strikes and tank maneuvers. In reality it consisted of specially trained soldiers bunnyhopping across open fields while shrugging off machine gun bullets like it was nothing.
5:55 *DANIELS, THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE TRAINED FOR NOW PICK UP THAT BANGER!!* Me: **picks up my mixtape** (And did he just get casually shot in the shoulder while saying that?? Edit: lol lowkey thought this comment was original...
I had this friend... a true brother I served with back in the war... we'd be pinned down under enemy fire and mortar shells, but Private Daniels... that son of a gun would damn bunny hop his way through the German lines at 30 miles an hour. He saved us all.
I really liked the characters in this one. The only issue i had was the health bar. I get they were trying to appeal to the classic cods but it was so annoying having to pause and heal every 2 minutes
I'm just gonna say this, I liked the WW2 campaign, I thought it was decent and I enjoyed it I especially liked the Main Menu, it was just nice to look at
nice job, I have tip for clearing third bunker on omaha, throw granade upstairs and go back to entry with flamethrower, much faster and you'll have everyone in one line
He beat D-day in 18 minutes He beat operation cobra in 13 minutes He beat Stronghold in 12 minutes He beat S. O. E. in 7 minutes He beat liberation in 20 minutes He beat collateral damage in 23 minutes He beat Death factory in 14 minutes He beat hill 493 in 10 minutes He beat battle of the bulge in 19 minutes He beat ambush in 11 minutes He beat the Rhine in 10 minutes He beat epilogue in 5 minutes Bth I know if you count this all up it is not equal with the actual timer that’s because I did not count the time in between ambush and the Rhine
That first mission is hilarious. Opening cutscene has soldiers getting one-shot and the top half of their skulls getting blown off, and it's all really emotional, yet 5 minutes later Daniel takes like 10 shots from an MG42 and walks it off. CoD: WWI, do you want to be a gritty realistic war shooter, or a Call of Duty game? On a side note, glad to see that the CoD engine, despite being now 18 years removed from idTech 3, still has Quake 3-style strafe jumping.
I think it's safe to say he's going to get world record easily given the fact that Call of Duty takes no skill and this dudes an absolute monster In just about every game he plays
Call of Duty takes no skill? The speedrunning aspect of the game is actually fairly hard ;D While I do agree that the Multiplayer is just about who has their raw aim on point and a little bit of brains, speedrunning the campaign is a hard grind ;D
Call of Duty does definitely take skill, take it from someone that's been playing it for almost 6 years. I see what you're saying though. A better way to put it would be, it doesn't *have* to take skill. If I wanted to, I could head glitch in a corner with an LMG and rack up as much XP as possible. This method of playing CoD, arguably, takes no skill. But from what I've been able to tell, the majority of people who play the game do not play it like that. I enjoy trying to use melee weapons only, quickscope, trickshot, ninja defuse, and all sorts of fun things. If an extremely experienced CoD player were to face someone who's played the game only one time with the exact same weapon, the experienced person would most likely win.
toxic howl they weren't used in mass numbers and something that was found in the Eastern front wouldn't be bothered to bring up to west , it is idiotic that they shipped tons of captured russian guns across the Europe when they have better guns and a supply problem on the east , if anything this is literally bullshit.
Most of the game seems rubbish, but for Normandy, that would actually be possible. Ukrainian and russian white troops were pulled from the east and used as occupation/anti insurrection troops in France, and being rear echelon, they wouldn't get full standard equipment. Some were deployed at least in nearby Brittany. Now, for the german divisions that were holding the atlantic wall, it might be a different story...
The fact is, even on minimum graphics it doesn't even look too bad. It's still quite bad, sort of reminds me of Band of Brothers graphics at times, but still pretty decent.
I think i have speedrun record as my game shuts down every time when i try to start up. Do you know what might fix this? It tells me to run in safe mode when i try to launch again
It was a Canadian regiment that broke through enemy lines and advanced way further than anybody on D Day. Regina Rifles. They are the real deal. No less to anyone else there that day.
HOLY SHIT its true- those random PPSh-41's! I thought this was actually a joke but its actually on the Normandy mission- what a joke! Excellent run, but this game is hot garbage.
pfff, if only ppsh (well, they even dont bother to change name to mp41r, not mention magazine)... we can found svt40s and karabins (where are wz38 irl, but they dont give a shit about name, also in game it have detachable magazine - brilliant research team) or even m30 luftwaffe drilling where - like name tell us - was for luftwaffe pilots for self defense, not for wehrmacht, heck in last mission i found m1941... HISTORICAL ACCURACY MA ASS
You must not know your history than my dude. The Germans captured a shit load of Soviets in ww2. Germans use the ppsh 41. The ppsh 41 is a bit Superior to the mp40. So the Germans used the ppsh's from captured Soviet soldiers. Makes sense now dumbass?
toxic howl prove it. I've read loads of forums where they've discussed this topic. Offer up some actual evidence, because yes it is feasible, but would it have been practical for Germans to ship Russian submachine guns to France?
