This short videos focused on one topic are really useful, keep them coming! ...I love Callipeg, I just have a piece of constructive feedback, the double tap with apple pencil on the timeline is not an intuitive gesture, and I only manage to make it work about 1 in 4 times, because the timing of the taps is very specific, Not sure if I’m the first user to bring that up, but it can be really frustrating... just my two cents and frankly I don’t have an answer to what kind of gesture would be better... excellent work nonetheless!
It happens with me as well. When I want to select multiple, I struggle but all of a sudden it selects the layers or even splits them.... That is annoying !
Thank you for your feedbacks. We recently tried long touch and drag but it is way slower and we decided to stay with the current gesture. Maybe we’ll find a better way someday.
Wow...I made a full on commitment a couple years ago to iOS & iPad as a legitimate production platform of the future. And here it is. Luma Fusion, Procreate, a hundred robust synthesizers & full DAW’s, Nomad sculpt, and...Callipeg! A couple bucks and a bunch of talent and hard work, and you can really make something...anything. This is an amazing time to be an Artist. Little animation producers coming out of the woodwork. iOS is getting to be a very good ride! ✌️🍷🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩
Cool but if I want to erase something from multiple frames, how do I do that? I tried selecting multiple frames but it didn’t work. Now I have to go from frame to frame to fix. There must be an easier way.
Hello again...I’ve been discussing the value of this app with other animators and had a couple questions: so you can import images from other programs, right? Can I import a stack or series of PNGs? Then take advantage of copy/paste & loop functions. I’d like to be able to have a layer (or multiple layers) of PNGs if that’s possible and manipulate them and add to them with your brushes. And are layers possible, if so what’s the limit? Thanks 🙏. Wonderful piece of software. ✌️☕️🎩🎩🎩
Hello John, you can import png files and the only limit for the number of layers is your storage/RAM. We still have to work on importing series of images to get them in the correct order. We will focus on this some day, for now we are working on the sound layer. Thank you 🙏
Hello, you have to use the layer menu and click on the copy icon. Then, in the other layer, click on the paste icon at the top of the layers pile. The written documentation is available on callipeg.com/learn-layers/
You can test Callipeg for free for 7 days. After that, if you want to use Callipeg, you can currently get it for 0,99€/month, 9,99€/year or 49,99€ for a permanent purchase. If you purchased it but can’t access it, please contact us to contact@enoben.com
Hello, it is technically possible to create a few minutes long animation on an iPad but you have to divide your work into shots, like you would do on any animation production. One shot in your animation is one Callipeg file (which we name a shot). A shot is almost always 1 to 10 seconds long in an animation production. Each shot is its own file, and you export your shots once they are done to edit your film in a video editing software. There is no sheets or layers number limit in Callipeg: the only limit is your available storage and ram memory. The larger and longer a shot is, the more space and memory it will need.
@@Callipeg ps.: don’t be late because if I’m not mistaken Clip studio paint has sound already. Your app is better of course but you got to put a sound option if you wanna call it a animation program and not a flip book for fun program
