You have one of the best, if not, the BEST high performance all season tires. Snow traction about as good as it gets w/o being an "all weather" tire with a certified 3PM rating.

I drive my camaro all year long even in the winter time and it does far better then I could imagine and I believe ice/ snow mode is a big part of it.

Yeah, I live in northeast Ohio. I've had a lot of Camaros and have driven them all year. Most definitely the modern systems they have now help a ton. Because the 3rd gen I had in highschool drives way, WAY worse in the snow than the 5th gens I've had. I have my first 6th gen now and this will be it's first winter coming up. I'm guessing it will do about the same as the 5th. I think a lot of people that say they are bad in snow just don't know how to drive in snow. I think they actually aren't that bad.

@@xsixinfantryx I've been replacing my 20 inch with the Blizzak 19 inch for winter and when the roads are snow cover I just put the car in snow/ice mode and the camaro did better then I can ever imagine. This year I just put on new extremecontract dsw 06 plus all season and I'm going with them this winter.

I have the same tires on my 17 here in Philly but I've never tested the S. They're great tires in everything else street related. Thanks for taking us on the ride with you. ✌.

ya ride sound like a beast, bro! that's how my 392 shaker Challenger sounds from a cold start...but the growl isn't quite so deep, but it's cool though! Nice! I just now bought some Continental UHP Extreme Contact DS 06 Plus tires (coupla hours ago).

I have these on my car, they’re decent in light snow, but if there’s any ice on the road.. forget about it. Don’t even risk it. You’ll need a dedicated winter tire

Im 50 now ,when i started driving thats all i had was camaros and Transams ,They were my 365 days a year car ,I didnt even think about snow ,just got in and went to were i was going,Now a days i get it there are much better cars for the snow, but Most people had rwd cars ,even fwd was still fairly new ,and everyone drove cars in the snow that nowadays would make youtube videos if they can or cant ,lol ,The biggest problem nowadays is people dont drive as good(thats a fact) without all the nannies they are doomed, Im glad to see u arent one of those people lol ,good video

I put the same tires on my supra and avoided snow as much as I could but when on a few occassions I ended up out in snow they did pretty well. should have tested the snow and ice mode. Wonder how much it would have helped with the throttle.

Just bought a set for my 2.0T Malibu. I hope they're good in the snow its my Daily driver to work. I didnt realize the small Turbo would be such a pain when its Snowy since its front wheel drive.

I think I'm going to get a set of OEM wheels from a regular SS and slap on some of these for winter. Might be just a bit safer thru snow because of the smaller 275 rears and 245 front. Lets me keep my summer tires on the 1LE wheels for hooning around when its warm

I'm thinking about changing out my supercar 3s for these tires. The supercar 3s as you probably know try to kill you in the rain and when its barely cold out. Sadly I've almost worn the rear tires all the way down (3/32) within about 7000 miles or so but the fronts still have (4/32). I also live in NC but would like something that's more friendly in the cold and rain. Plus I live in Cullowhee for grad school and it's designated a temperate rain forest... and I have to drive like a grandma every time it rains

What about spring, fall, and summer driving with all season compared to summer tires

a pretty good vid! But you should have done a few braking tests. The most important thing is actually stopping, not going! LOL!

I ran these for the first time this year on my Subaru wrx and I have had much better luck on different All season tires this year is the first year I slid of the road and I put a lot of miles down regularly so I’m accustomed to snow and every time it was at low speed 15 and below so might check different tires out cause I had no luck in an all wheel drive system that’s normally bullet proof in the snow I’d be scared to drive my Camaro with them but the creator seems to not mind them

Amazing SS 1LE man! I bet traction would be slightly better if you had your 19 gallon fuel tank full. Very cool to see though! Anyway, how do these tires compare dry traction wise to the stock supercar 3 tires? I'm buying a 2SS 1LE 6-speed manual this summer, and these are one of my choices of tire since I drive a little over 20k miles a year, on average. I really don't want to have to replace the rear tires 2-3 times a year lol. No burnouts or donuts from me until the day I replace them when they're worn.

Oh sorry, I'm subscribed to you, so I know I told you about my wanting to buy a 1LE. I write so many comments, I didn't realize it until after I posted it. I'd still love to know about the tire comparison when you get a chance, if that's OK? Thanks & great video!

Yeah, on the racetrack I'm sure the Goodyears are much better but on the street, the Continentals are fantastic. Much better wet grip and in the dry they're great too
@StormAutoAdventures

@Carolina Autos Excellent! Especially being 285mm wide up front, and 305mm wide in the rear. Any decent tire should have great dry grip being that wide, I'd imagine. Very cool. Thanks again!
