Being Hispanic, I can relate so much w/ this family. Most Hispanic families (especially mothers) are very traditional. I like that women's style. It kinda reminds me of my own.

I mean, in the end, she really really loved that white dress, and her mum was happy in the process. Why’s everyone saying she got bullied, at the beginning she was but in the end she chose a dress that she, herself, loved and nearly cried in. She didn’t cry in any of the black dresses, and loved the white so much she would chose it over any black dress to the reception. In the end, she got to decide, and she chose the white one.

This is just how hispanic moms are. They’re very loud and very opinionated. This is actually quite normal in my family (how the mom acted). At the end of the day, I’m sure her moms loves and her very much and would’ve been fine if Cami chose the black dress (there’s another scene where her mom admits that in the end, she just wants Cami to be happy and asked if she truly loved the second black dress because she would’ve been fine with it).

for me, when you get married you have to present yourself as you...she felt having a black dress presents her well so she should have it....with the black dress she looked so happy.....with the white one she just looked a bit forced.....her family is there to help her choose one and telling her a dress doesn't look good on her is ok (that's their purpose) , but the mom's initial reaction on wearing the black one was just not good, her mom should have just told her in a more toned down way cuz the bride was loving the black dress and then yelling at her to take it off is just too much and could make any bride feel bad.
