When he's trying to find Mirabel, and going 'Mirabel! Mira-' and then turns into a baby and just stands there like 'this is it. This is my life now.' and continues to search for her with his little tiny baby hands just has me rolling

Reasons we stan: 💛 theatre kid 💛 mama's boy 💛 that hair tho 💛 he's such a people person it's his literal job to take care of everyone's personal needs and hE LOVES DOING IT SM I- 💛 his dancing skills 💛 I love his poncho!!! (or whatever the proper term for it is) 💛 chameleon iconography bc that's what he is !! 💛 his A++ mastry of his gift?? he shifts so easily, and the way he turns into a mini-Felix, and the smooth transitions between himself and Bruno and don't even get me started on how in between the transitions _he sustained the Bruno look in the lower half of his body--_ 💛 _HIS SINGING VOICE_ 💛 ISABELA, YOUR BOYFRIEND'S HEREEEEEEEEEE 💛 yeah in general he's just the best

can we talk about how even tho he's the third youngest of the family hes still incredibly mature and caring? he shapeshifted into a babys mom so she could get sleep. when everyone was freaking out cause they saw brunos vision for the first time he was the one to calm his mom down, he even made tea for her in the midst of all that chaos. was running after the candle with isabella and mirabel and when the house collapsed he asked what his little brother was gonna do? he was more worried about antonio than himself. Hes a jokester and funny guy but i really hope his character gets explored more i feel like there is so much more to him

The creators of Encanto are said that although not shown in the film Camilo suffers from pressure and has insecurities, although he hides it under his cheerful attitude. Although he appreciates her gift, it makes him question his sense of self, and constantly morphing for others tires him.

Camilo's singing is underrated like the part where he sings, "Isabela your boyfriends here!" Is just so iconic like the part where he says here is just...wow and the laugh after its so good he deserves his own song

I really like the Madrigal cousins. Isabella had problems because she was stuck with perfect and had to go through a future marriage she didn't want. Luisa had problems because she couldn't take the pressure of being needed and having too much weight to carry anymore. Mirabel had problems because she was the only one without a gift and felt like she was worthless. Dolores had problems because the man of her dreams was supposed to marry her cousin. Antonio had problems because he thought he might not be worthy enough of getting a gift. And Camilo. . . was just Camilo.

he’s like the most supportive bro and i can’t stop laughing at the baby version of “miiiiirabelll!”

His voice when he says: "Isabela, your boyfriend's here!" always makes me melt 😩

I personally think he’s a funny character! he deserves to be in the movie more, and he’s adorable. plus… i have to say he has amazing dance moves. haha

Camilo was only a second or two behind Mirabel when running for the candle. He was watching as she ran and followed. Split second to decide and he ran to help his cousin. His gift gives him the power to whoever is needed in a situation. But as himself, he cares for his family and strives to protect them. There is some real nobility in the grandkids.

Can't stop thinking about how everyone in this movie have NO anxiety about fact that Camilo knows how they all look like without clothes...

I didn't notice this until now but at 1:53, if you look closely on the table (the one closest to the pink flowers), there's a coffee press and it's the same one that Luisa and Mirabel fall into during "Surface Pressure" about 5-10 minutes after the scene in the film.

I just love how after the house collapses, he's the only one having sensible - if extremely calm - reactions. He's the only one pointing out "Hey, we DON'T HAVE A HOUSE, WE'RE HOMELESS". When Bruno shows up, his reaction is basically "So....long lost uncle we refuse to even mention the name of has just shown up out of the blue, and we're all cool now? Really?". And when Dolores admits she KNEW Bruno never left, his face is ""Wait, what? Seriously!?!" - funny how no one else seems to mind that Dolores was keeping that a secret
