Thank you. Yeah, the half way certificates are worth getting. They're beautiful, and they're also nice to have just in case you're unable to complete the Camino for some reason.
We booked about 4 or 5 days in advance, mostly because we tried to get private rooms with two single beds. During the last 100 km we booked about 6 days in advance.
